    Defense will win at least 7 games for us. Unlikely the offense will tack on another 3 from what I've seen so far. But then again, it's only preseason. Can't read too much into it.

    Agreed. Build this offense from the line out. Skill players can't do without the line doing their part, and this line can't protect an ant from my shoe

    Any QB would suck behind that O-line. Pass protection just wasn't there. He was under heavy pressure the entire time he was in there

    Very good run blocking unit, pass protection highly questionable. That unit needs rebuilding.

    Granted, He's not going to the HOF but all he does is win enough games to get to qualify for the playoffs.There's nothing at all fancy about him but he does get the job done.

    He's a pretty decent corner with a hell of a story. Being a part of the Saints defense hurts his stock since they're not that good. He's worth a look anyway.

    From a long term standpoint,Yes it was a good move with an eye toward building a consistent contender. From a win now standpoint, Hell no! It weakened the team for this season. The 18 draft will determine just how good or bad the deal works out, but overall, the long term benefits outweigh the short term effects of this trade

    The two new guys have to be productive, and the draft picks have to be solid contributors in order for this to work

    I get the logic of the recent trades for draft currency in 18, but what is the goal for this season, sacrifice 17 to rebuild for 18? I thought they were aiming to try and win now while building on what we already have going forward. Your thoughts?
