  1. Add to that the fact that they don't have the speed man needed for those kind of plays to work
  2. Dennison doesn't have the conceptual understanding of running our ground and pound attack that Roman and Lynn had, nor does he have the same OL coach .
  3. Good Luck Doug. Hope everything works out for you.
  4. The most pleasant surprise of all the recent signings. This guy is a baller
  5. From what we've seen of the offense, that might turn out to be a necessary evil
  6. They looked so much better in 2 games than they did over two years under Rex Ryan. Now all we need is to get something more out of the offense.
  7. And to think, they came to within a better thrown pass of pulling out a game they had no business even being in playing like that on offense.. how about a baseball score. 3-2 Bills
  8. IF that's the case, then McDermott learned well from him but I'll be fair about it. All part of the continuing educational process. Him and the rest of the team will take the lessons learned and be better next week when they beat Denver
  9. The Panthers offense is not that bad.. They're playoff caliber, but our defense came to play
  10. I'm staying here right along with you buddy. I saw the same thing you did, a team that nearly pulled out a game they had no business winning with the way the offense played, but were kept in the game by a championship level performance by the defense.
  11. They had no respect for our PASSING attack so the stacked up against the run
  12. Our defense is much better after 2 games than they were in two years under Rex Ryan. If only the offense would come to life ... smdh
  13. They looked better in two games than they did in two years under Rex
  14. They got Dallas bent over, but the Bills will keep it close and then beat them I agree. our defense is back We just need the offense to show up
  15. yep on 1 & 3, No on 2, he didn't manage the clock r his timeouts very well. It's a learning experience for him.
  16. What a waste of a championship caliber 'bend but don't break' defensive performance that reminded me of Doug Marrone's teams - great defense, ineffective offense. How much of that was on Taylor, and how much was on Dennison as Nate Hackett 2.0? Granted the offense woke up just in time to steal the game, but coming up short wasn't all on Zay Jones, that throw could have been much better with the game on the line. In all fairness, McDermott is a rookie HC still learning on the job, but did he learn clock management from Rex Ryan instead of Andy Reid? The O-Line struggles to give a shorter QB like Taylor the lines of sight he needs to find - and hit the open receivers downfield. He's challenged to see over the linemen to find his open targets. He's going to throw his share of high balls over the receiver's heads, but the throw to Jones for the win was just a str8 up off target pass he should not have missed with the game on the line after engineering a very good 2 minute drive. So far, the team's biggest surprise signing is Jordan Poyer. And so far,Steven Hauschka's FG kicks are about as scary as Dan Carpenter's were last year This is how defenses are going to play against us the rest of the way, stack against the run and make Shady a non factor, while challenging the offense to beat them through the air. They didn't deserve to win that game with the way the offense played, but with the way the defense played, we should have stolen that one from the Panthers. We'll make it up next week with a win over Denver. GO BILLS!!!!!!
  17. It wasn't exactly the greatest throw but the ball was catchable
  18. Yes. Poyer is a pleasant surprise, Tolbert's strength is running between the tackles. Let Shady handle the outside runs. I see potential in Matthews once he and TT develops chemistry. Even without a playoff berth, we're going to be better than many people think this season
  19. His name wasn't mentioned once, but overall the line was solid. I would have thought he'd be more of a noticeable force up front. Was he even getting penetration at the line?
  20. They were playing the Jets, nuff said. Of course they'll have to step it up against the Panthers
