  1. Yes! He did have the team going in the right direction even without a franchise QB. We still had a bit of a pop gun offense, but we had a championship quality defense. All he needed was a different OC (even Roman), and we would have been playoff bound.
  2. They won't run the table. That would require a sweep of the Pats, and we all know that ain't happening. Best they'll do is 9-7 if they sweep Miami.
  3. They'll have to sweep the fish and split with the Patriots in addition to not sinking below the level of the Colts in a game they're 'Supposed' to win. Playoffs?? That's a pretty big 'IF'
  4. I would like to see Mike McCoy take over the offense. Unlike in Denver, he'll at least have a capable QB and running game to work with. And with an upgraded OL coach, the offense should at least be more productive
  5. Well, we definitely can't run and gun with the Patriots. They got too many guns. They absolutely MUST put the hits on Brady to get him off his game.
  6. That just about sums it up right there. Mike McCoy will be available for next season, will McD go for him? That's the guy he originally wanted to run the offense anyway
  7. This was a badly needed win for our boys.Nice to still be in playoff position going into December 1) Right off the bat, What the was that ref puffing on when he made that horrendous call on Gaines late in the 4th? Was he trying to give the Chiefs the game? 2) Glad to see the Defense get things turned around. They made the plays when they needed to make them. White's game ending INT was huge. Finally some pressure on the QB. 3) Yarborough, Milano, and Cadet should get more playing time. 4) Offense still lacking the ability to put teams away. They should have finished them off late in the third quarter, but they couldn't move the ball. Too many checkdowns and questionable play calls, not enough shots taken downfield. That not going to be anywhere near good enough next week against the Patriots. 5) This team has proven itself to be capable of winning the close low scoring games. Next week won't be that kind of game. They'll have to put up a lot of points to win next week 6) Running game is still a concern, maybe it's Dennison's blocking scheme. What do you think? 7) Here's where loyalty has to take a back seat to reality. This punchless offense can't keep pace with New England.Tthat's going to put a lot of stress on the defense. Frazier figured it out and got the defense back on track this week. Dennison really hasn't yet. The pressure will be on him to get the offense going like it needs to be, and also on TT to make plays downfield. Capt Checkdown 2.0 won't be good enough next week. Anything less than 30 points will be a loss, 20 or less will get us blown out again. Have faith anyway guys GO BILLS!!!!
  8. There's too many other holes that need to be filled on the roster. I wouldn't move up. Wait it out and see who falls down to us.
  9. 'Lorenzo' Alexander can stay on as a situational edge rusher. EJ is a solid corner. He can also stay. A complete teardown would put us at the Browns level. Is that really what you want?
  10. Deion Sanders and LaDanian Tomlinson's skit on that talk was comical... https://sports.yahoo.com/prime-reenacts-buffalo-bills-head-060012527.html
  11. " For a franchise that hasn’t been to the postseason in 18 years, this was coaching malpractice. " This just about sums it up!
  12. Bad move on their part. they're worse at QB than we are. YES! TT is better than all 3 of them!
  13. Dr Poyer and Mr Hyde were great pickups. Gaines is solid when healthy. The draft was decent. I'll give him an incomplete grade for now pending results of what's done in the offseason. This is clearly a teardown and rebuilding year. I just hope he didn't tear down Peterman's confidence by throwing him to the wolves when he clearly wasn't ready for that. Playoffs? What's the point? They'll just get eaten alive in the first round.
  14. Refer to Darcy Regier - There's going to be some suffering first. Year 1, evaluate what they have to work with and build around Year 2, continue to add and subtract players to fit what they want to do Year 3, Now that you have all your people on the field, it's win or go look for a new job
  15. That's true. Even when he was on the field, he commanded respect and attention just because of his size and presence. Right after he was traded, all hell broke loose, and teams are running all over them now
  16. I doubt if they'll get a good night's sleep, but they need time to think about what they're going to say about that
  17. Roman's run concepts were great. Dennison's, not so great, and it's showing What can they say after that?
  18. There's only so much a QB can do behind THAT line. TT's ability to escape pressure is serving him well. Stay with him until the next guy beats him out
  19. 1) What a rude welcome to the NFL for Nate Peterman. He was clearly not ready but it wasn't all his fault. He got little help from the rest of the offense. Two of his INT's resulted from being hit as he threw, and the pick 6 was because the ball bounced off the receiver's hands. The other's were on him (learning experience). He'll be ok. It was worth a try but boy did that decision to toss him in the fire ever blow up in McDermott's face big time 2) You think TT knew something we didn't? He had his helmet on at the start of the game like he knew he was going to be back on the field. He's our best option at QB, Deal with it haters, and learn to appreciate him. I think this experience will help him going forward. Accuracy is still an issue but we've seen the alternative. 3) What happened to the defense? From top 5 to a dumpster fire at a train wreck in 3 weeks, each beating worse than the last one. and once again, the 3rd RB broke a TD run on them. So much for bend but don't break. They got bent over and broken in royally. He needs faster Linebackers for his defense, and those zones have too many open holes for QB's to take advantage of - especially with very little or no pass rush. Thy gave up 50 to a team with a losing record, and it could have easily been 60. 4) Cadet looks more useful in the backfield than Tolbert. This guy needs more time backing up Shady 5) How could what was once a good offensive line that paved the way for the #1 rushing offense two years in a row decline so fast? Is it age or coaching? 6) Speaking of Coaching, they don't get a pass on this. 3 straight whippings, each one worse than the last ? outscored 101--34 over the last 3 games? Both coordinators belong on the hot seat right now 7) Next up are the Chiefs and Patriots. This could get uglier before it gets better. Come guys, get it together quickly!!!! GO BILLS!!!
  20. Tough as hell spot to be throwing a rookie in, but something has to change. Let's see how things go
  21. Boy would that ever suck Do they really need him to win just by handing off the ball?
