Beaner's playing it cool. He's not going to tip his hand but he does have the draft capital to move up if he wants to. The question is, will he go for broke or sit tight and roll the dice on one of the QB's dropping down far enough to make a better deal than the one the Jets made? I see Mayfield in our future

The concern with #2 is that it wouldn't be a good idea to take the position backwards by moving on from him without having someone actually beating him out. If the next guy comes in and actually takes the job from him then fine, move on. If not, it makes more sense to keep him until someone can come in and take the job by beating him out. Make the next guy earn the job first before sending him on his way

I can see Dawkins taking over for Glenn at LT. He was pretty solid for a rookie. Look for Beane to add Glenn to a package dealn on draft day to move up and hopefully get us our QB of the future
