  1. Here's where I'm stuck at... If Beane already had his mind made up to draft a QB, why didn't he go out and get a serviceable vet with just enough gas left in the tank to come aboard and help mentor Allen just in case something like this happened and he has to start right now?
  2. The offenses are starting to figure him out and how to attack him
  3. Yep. Big time blunder. the QB coach never played the position before and neither did the QC. There's no experienced vet to help him out. Just Nate Peterman. Even a washed up vet like a Matt Moore would be more useful to him right now.
  4. The seat under Leslie Frazier is heating up fast
  5. Even an aging vet on his last legs would be more useful than NP. What can he really do for him?
  6. He could have given his teammates that much respect and stuck it out until after the game and then retired. He knew what he was getting himself into during the preseason.
  7. He needs a veteran to help guide him, and Nate Peterman ain't it!
  8. Who's going to guide Josh Allen, Nate Peterman? Really? Seriously??? Your thoughts? https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/09/17/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-brandon-beane/
  9. Let's see what happens in Minnesota. It's going to be a long day for Allen, but let's hope the experience makes him better. Once the season is over, I'm looking to see changes on the coaching staff
  10. 1) The seat under Leslie Frazier is heating up. Did the defense get better when McD took over the play calling in the second half? 2) I think we have our QB in Allen. This was a good learning experience for him. Expectations were low for this game but he did ok for his first start. he made some rookie mistakes as expected, but he showed enough good things in his first start to prove himself worthy. 3) Is it really that bad that a player retired at halftime? 4) The o-line played a little better in the second half, but the seat under Juan Castillo should start heating up. 5) Even if it's a washed up veteran on his last leg, Allen is going to need an experienced backup who can be of real help to him. 6) As much as I like Murphy on kick returns, he makes me nervous on punt returns (hang on to the ball, and know when it's best to fair catch a punt!) 7) Penalties penalties penalties ... smdh 8. it was an overall better performance than last week, but more improvement is needed 9) We're looking at an 0-4 start, but it's not how you start, it's how you finish! GO BILLS!!!
  11. Ain't happening. they're rebuilding. last season bought them some time. He'll survive 2 more years before that becomes a thought
  12. Oh yeah, He'd have eaten Gaines alive.
  13. That's what they better do to help Allen stay upright. They have to go ground and pound to have any semblance of a chance.
  14. Nope. Even an aging veteran on his last legs like Matt Moore would have been useful to help the QB's along, even if he never has to set foot on the field.
  15. Is that the guy who threw 7 int's in 3 starts and got pulled from 2 of the 3 games he started because the Bills were gettng the crap beat out of them??
  16. Very few QBs can be successful with this offense, but that was a total team loss. Offense, defense, special teams, and coaching.
  17. The line is not good enough to really protect him or any other QB, and the receivers aren't capable of getting open to help the QB keep the chains moving. Just play a tight press man coverage on them and any competent secondary can take them out of the game. There's no true #1 receiver, and what else does he have outside of backup level receivers behind the starters? He has no chance to succeed under these conditions
  18. They're going to rely mainly on running the 'ground and pound' style offense to help out their Q, and if the line can give him at least 2-3 seconds of protection, he'll be effective for the first 5-6 games until the other DCs figure him out.
  19. NP is the QB and JA is #2. that shouldn't change until either NP falters or gets injured, and JA is actually ready to take over
  20. Peterman has earned the right to be the starter, but not be spoken in the same sentence as Drew Brees. He hasn't been around long enough to accomplish that much, but I do hope he does well in his role here with the us.
  21. It's about time! He earned it. Now put a functional line in front of him!
  22. Somebody's going to pick him up. No idea who, but somebody will
