I read the his book every and go back to look over the player when the bills aquire someone. I will say that his play evaluations are for the most part solid. As far as who picks and when they are picked that is another level of evaluation and speculation

Watkins, Robinson or mack these appear to be three chooses. I wouldn't take the North car Tight end. I seen a few two many drops , and Mike Evans would be the wild card

If nothing else when Delmas is released it give the Bills options. As for Mathis , I would like a solid vet as the 4th cb that could step up for a couple of games if needed.

It is great. Buddy wasn't perfect . He did inherit a huge mess. No talent and what was there was mosly made to run the tampa two . Cleaned house and hit on a good portion of his picks. Sadly he might not have landed a qb. Ej will be his legacy in some ways

Cleveland might make the most sense. Maybe they want to make a hugh move on draft day qb with their pick then move up from 24 and take Watkins to pair with Gordon . We would get back 24 , clevelands second and they have 2 thirds

The bills roster must be be getting beter, this is the first year I don't want to sign ten free agents. Although the bills are in good cap room today , they really have a ton of players who need to get paid in the next two year so with that in mind... If I could sign Donald Butler or Spikes I would be happy. The draft should fill the oline problems. They other name that sticks out is Pitta , I don't think he hits the market but he fills a need and gives the Bills a been there done that player as they continue to grow . A couple of smaller free agents that could work are Alexander wr Sd and Boothe O lineman Giants, smart , hardworking and plays everywhere, and also has a ring.

until this year I was a member of you don't take a right tackle at number 9 club . Here is why I changed. I flat out think the kid from Auburn is the type of Tackle the Marrone is looking for . Roadgrader first . Big Knock them back 5 yard guy. Second and a point rarely discussed, there was nobody on the roster last year to play left tackle if Glenn was injured . I know Thomas welch was on the roster but with a rookie qb and a journeyman left tackle Ej would have been killed. When you add Robinson you also add a player who can step in and play Left tackle. They might get Hairston back and that would give them an excellent 3 unit.
Final Point , this is a very strong and deep draft but the talent is fairly even. If you remove the qb's and clowny , perhaps Watkins , and they should all be gone , the rest of the pool is fairly even , strong but even. If Mike Evans goes through the the process and Whaley and company think he is a legit number 1 then I think he is your man, if not tacking Robinson or Matthews is probably the smart play.

Hairston played some guard in College, I wouldn't surprise me if they had plans for him last year before he got injured

The only number that matters in these large contracts is the Gaurenteed money . The rest of it is window dressing , very helpful for the agent to recruit but does nothing for the player. If you offer a player 7 years for 50 and guarentee 10 million it looks great on paper but in the end 40 mllion is still left to be earned.

Here is scenerio. Parket lets it be known if you tag him two things will happen , we will tell any team that trades for him that we are not signing a deal, second if you tag him there is not guarentee he will play before week 8. From the Bills prospective they can't go all offseason with a gapping hole in the secondary. A williams is solid and maybe on his ways to big things but Duke is untested. They are going to have to go out and spend 3-5 million on a safety in free agency . So they risk the chance of have to high paid safties
