EJ's gloves no longer an issue because he's hurt

Whoever does the ordering of the gloves, today is free shipping over the internet, but I thought he has a knee problem, not a hand problem. -

Be thankful he is only wearing 1 glove. Did!nt OJ wear 2. -
For the record -- Manuel's rating today was 105.0

All the QBs that did!nt start and even sat for a year or two learned. Who is teaching EJ-Jeff Tuel and Thad Lewis or a QB coach who never played the position and who moonlights as a QB coach while concentrating on his OC job. One rookie teaching another. Please. -
I do not think people want to see EJ fail. But after 14 years does!nt everybody want a franchise QB. I believe drafting another QB, because we need to try again even though this organization does!nt have a clue. Explain why Matt Flynn did!nt get 1 play while in Buffalo, while he was good enough to beat the Cowboys Sunday. It is because the Packers are controlled by Football people whose focus is winning, while the Bills are controlled by money, business, computer(analytic) people who focus on making money-for the Wilson family. If EJ has shown he is the guy for the next 10 years and a SB QB we would be happy. We want him to be that guy, we don!t want to see him fail, but when he has not shown he can be that guy, then try again with someone else.

To call Sanchez a bust is not reality. First two years in the league led his teams to playoff wins. He has got killed by the media in NY for a while. All he needs is a change of scenery. Let the Bills bring him in and have him compete against EJ and EJ would be holding a clipboard all year. 105.0 against maybe the worse team in the league in a meaningless game. What are you thinking. -
This is the same knee that he had the problem on first. I asked this before but no one has a answer. What was wrong with the knee originaly? Was he drafted with a bad knee? Marrone said he knew but was not telling. Why is it such a big secret? No transparency. Even our GM did not know about one of his players last weekend but Ron Brooks knew.

Anyone else feeling like they just don't care?
mart replied to xsoldier54's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have not read the other 67 comments on this thread, but the lst one told it like it is, and what is worse is what if the players don!t care either. What if they want to protect their bodies and their contracts in these meaningless games A lot of people have said the team has improved this year, and is on the upswing. Who once said, you can fool some of the people all of the time, but not all of the people some of the time. -
Teach him better footwork and arm angles with him under center rather than in the shotgun, and stop with the 7 yard passing plays. You would not learn to be a top violin player, from someone who is a drum player, and then if he can!t cut it dump him and try again in the draft. Don!t keep him around another two years. Swallow the pride and move on.

EJ has lost his confidence which is such a big thing for QBs. They don!t make it to this level without huge egos and the confidence that goes with it. How can he have confidence knowing he is on a losing team, and losing organization. EJ was not very good in Tampa, but the OL and receivers did!nt help. Someone mentionted about a good QB Coach. We may have the worst in the league. Trying to do jobs at once, never playing the position. The QB he developed(?) at Syracuse may never get on the field in the NFL. This is the big leagues. Syracuse and the rest of the NCAA are in the development league or the minor leagues for the NFL. You want a QB Coach pick one who done the job at this level, not your rookie head coach buddy from college and maybe our QB can learn to improve; maybe.

Nate Jackson recounts his NFL injuries and treatments
mart replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Informative but sad article, tough to read all the way through. Some players make more in a year than a lot of 9-5 people there entire life, but there is a trade off what it does to their bodies. I recall opening weekend the Bills vs. Pats, a Pats receiver had a groin injury and could hardly walk off the feild at halftime, yet 20 minutes later came back out and could have gone immediately on Dancing With The Stars. He even helped beat the Bills. Reminded me a a series a few years back on ESPN that I believed the NFL had cancelled after one season. Even though players choose to abuse their bodies in the sport, and and a microcosm of what goes on in society, it is still sad but true. -
Last weekend the NFL set a record for touchdowns with 90 or so. 31 teams scored touchdowns. Can anyone guess which team did not? Having said that I see this week Coach Marrone has given QB a vote of confidence with the words going to be-----. Thats great and he should be confident of EJ going foreward, but what I don!t get is him saying they will simplify the offense for EJ. Should!nt it be the opposite and let him throw the ball all over the field to see what he can do without him being restrained. Let him audible whenever he sees something, but if after over 500 plays this year, and who knows how many in college and high school, he has to make it easier for him to run the offense, then I think there is a problem. Would!nt coaching help him? We have a QB Coach and a head Coach who never played the position and who now are in the big leagues. I think Jim Kelly could teach EJ more in a month than anyone else on the Bills staff could in a year. Just saying.

The "Peter and Ralph Principle" the Perfect Storm at Work
mart replied to patfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mr. Wawrow, It is so simple, it!s funny. The3 buck has to stop somewhere. You can blame all the underlings you want and you are right, but who picked the GM, who picked the person underneath, etc., etc. You sound like a PR flack for Mr. Wilson. Whose fault are the problems with Obamacare? You can put the blame on a pencil pusher or computer hack, but since Mr. Wilson can!t or won!t accept responsibility for this mess, you be big enough to do it for him, since you are a apologist for him. -
There should have to be decisions made about this after the season. One idea is to draft another QB and finally hope to hit the jackpot, and bring in a proven veteran QB who fell out of favor with his team(and I mean someone who has led his team to the playoffs like Schaub or Sanchez)and with EJ let the 3 of them compete to be the man next year and maybe 2 of them can learn something from the veteran since obviously EJ has not learned from a ex LB/Long Snapper. EJ has been in the shotgun all year;Rich Gannon believes rookie QBs learn more from being under Center rather than the shotgun. Just saying.

I thought he was on theSupreme Court and decieded some famous case about soda pop sold at a Bills game.
