Not sure i was on this blog yet. But that was the reality in person as well. People were talking that up. Im not going to lie. I wanted to just stick with fitz one one year and look at bridgewater. But for whatever reason buddy decided he HAD to take a qb that year. Leave Buffalo with their franchise guy. Had i had to have chosen that year. It was Gino, pre-texting on his visits, or Tyler Wilson. I thought Glennon sucked Tyler Bray was weak. I didnt like it. I feel like if you HAD TO HAVE a QB that year trading down and taking EJ was the right call. It was by default. Sure Ryan had a hand in it. But Whaley had to sit down with them and hash out the particulars. I feel like the talent was brought in by Rex. But i just cant get behind saying Whaley isnt doing well. And Rex shouldnt have full autonomy. That defense needs help... bad. And rex can either make Thurman a fall guy. Or own up and say flat out.... he has n3ver had this much talent on defense and he needs to retink his whole defensive scheme. My point is whaley delivered the parts. He has no control over the outcome passed that

What do you hold Whaley responsible for? Drafting a qb who is an adequate backup (Wait that was Nix). Trading oft injured Kiko Alonso for a premier RB. trading away a first for what people around here call a super star who hasnt even shown glimpses of his potential yet. Oh best part... in the following draft which there was no 1st rd pick, got us Ronald Freakin Darby. Our best cornerback right now. Getting Karlos Williams. Going and resigning dareus hughes getting corey graham RICHIE INCOGNITO and trying harvin. And also getting Tyrod Taylor. A player here who people are saying could be the future (way too early for me to say that). Yeah you are right... i hold Whaley plenty responsible

I see Welker and Taylor as i saw Stevie Johnson and EJ Manuel. Whats the point. Welker is an awesome over the middle guy who gets YAC yards galore. Taylor does not use the middle of the field a gread deal. Would he be an awesome addition to a team who has multiple reads. A resounding yes. But I could be quite wrong. But i just dont see a point. If anything we need a huge go up and get it guy. A poor mans Brandon Marshall. Someone as buddy would say is open when not open.

Ok. I was like damn, Powell is gettin it too!!!! Both guards pull well. And i saw Cordy pull hard on the weird Tyrod designed option keeper thing over the left side. I think your problem is of the 5 starting O line men. Only Incognito and Henderson are big nasties. I cant read Glenn. He seems better as a finesse tackle.

He did seem to stare down his guy. But the way Sammy abused Grimes all day Taylor could have told them he was throwing to Sammy and it wouldnt have mattered. I think Clay had a catch or 2. And i have to wonder about the onsides recover by woods. Was he being sarcastic. Why was he so amped to recover the ball. It was almost like "yes, i will get to touch the ball today".

Gilmore is decent. DEFINITELY not elite. And not Justin Rogers. I dont understand what everyone sees in him. 4 years in. Had 6 ints his first 3 yrs. I am not really sure how many this year. But i do know that as far as i am cocerned. Darby is about to be a shut down corner in this league. I was afraid that he would learn from Gilmore. And that would just expound upon his "bad habits" in college. Ut so far so good. He has played every teams number 1 receivers very well. He akes the college to pro transition seemlessly. I hope i didnt just jinx him.

The one big play and i thought people would want his head. I thought McKelvin was awesome all things considered

Unfortunately you have to count them. That was your pitfall with having 2 developmental qbs on the team. Tyrod is learning. EJ is learning. But its really hard to learn when you have so many missing parts. A healthy McCoy and Williams was the difference. I know many give Tyrod the credit. But this gsme was won on the ground... and in the trenches. Watkins was nice but McCoy and Williams were the unstoppable 2 man tandem i hope to get more than my share of for atleast the next 6 yrs What about John Miller holding on to Suh for dear life on the Watkins TD. He was absolutely mugged

In this defense... i have to agree. Bradham and brown for whatever reason turned out to be non existing. I was saying to my dad its funny how all the players who were dominant last year fell off a cliff this year. The d line, linebackers, aaron williams even looked different even injured, something just wasnt right

You wouldnt be beating the clay drum because of the avatar would you? Lol. Jk but seriously. The passing game gave me much to be concerned about. The last 2 weeks Clay ATE!!! Woods ate. The ball was evenly distributed. Im not sure how i feel about the whole Clay 2 receptions for like 11 yards and McCoy Williams (im sorry, but i dont remember which it was) for 1 reception and Watkins with the rest. That doesnt seem like the recipe for a 5 star meal. I thought we had the birth of a dominant TE. Guess not.

I think kouandjio was worse. While neither are playing well. I think Henderson look like he has slow feet. And Kouandjio is too stiff... the knees are probably killing. I know i find myself bending at the hips more compensating for my bad knee Almost? To me thats a no brainer. He is 32 now may have turned 33. But guards can go. Besides he has missed a year and some change so his body still has that extra year or so. Git er done Barring injury K Williams has been our most disruptive d lineman. I just dont see him getting the freddy treatment. He earns every bone he gets here. Mario Jerry or the golden boy Marcel dont hold a candle to him. Besides he is the most versatile. He can play 0-3 technique equally as effectively. Team leader who brings it. I just cant see it. I see Eric Wood getting the boot before him We have missed ot on a bunch of quality jokers. Very accurate. I think Luck is a good qb. I dont really see the once in a generation talent. And i 100% will NEVER understand when Trent was ever good. And why people point to Adrian Wilson for ending his career. He wasnt lights out that year prior to "the hit heard 'round Buffalo".
