I think they draft a guy and let him and EJ go at it for the number 2 this year. Tyrod is going to get hurt next year so assuming we arent as hurt as we have been. EJ will do fine in stand in duty. You have to remember, with the CBA backups arent what they used to be. And also back when i was a kid. Most backups seemed to be past their prime starters. That seems to be a thing of the past. It isnt what it once was Prescott would almost make the most sense in terms of continuity in regards to the way we play our QB Me and you Mr D. I think EJ was fine considering all things. 2 starts with a mix matched offense averaging about 275yds 2tds and 2 ints a game. Thats a far cry from the ultra boring x<175 yrd maybe 1 td a game performances. He is like you said still learning and developing, he is a consummate teammate. Why not one more go I would need to see better. I guess people liked the running. But there were a lot of plays left out there this year. He HAS to get better
