Why are you making sense. The inverse of the scenario is correct. A second tier cb is not gonna get worse when a top tier guy is out. Darby has been making plays plays Gilmore havent made. Is he better maybe but I know Darbys trajectory gives him the the potential to leave Gilmore in the dust. I said this in a different post. People were saying Jerry could play the scheme. I alluded to the notion that what if Jerry was freelancing and doing what he wanted. I was with you until you mentioned hughes. I thought he ws very disruptive. Just didnt show on the stat sheet Definitely gonna be a big stretch. He will probably never fully recover

What about a high end drafted qb to battle with TT. And have Kap battle EJ, loser of that battle goes. That way you have one of Tyrod or said rookie starting. If Tyrod loses then we have our QB. If tyrod wins we let the rook develop wherever while having EJ or Kap as the number 2/3.
