I think he is overhyped and not an impact player but the value placed on him is what he got. he may MAY have gotten a similar maybe slightly more handsome contract elsewhere Do you think we would have kept him without that insane contract? I thought the biggest injustice was making him a 100m player and then putting him at nose tackle. could you imagine rex still here with that garbage? I think the bottom line is when you arent a contender you have to do far out things to keep "talent". My friend, im telling you I would have been quite alright with him never resigning but i understand how much they wanted him and i also understand the terms of which it took to makenit happen.

Don't mean to argue but how is his contract ridiculous. He got McCoy, Suh money. He came off of a monster year. That was his going rate. i tell people this all the time. whatleys problem was he didnt follow his vision. he just was a talent evaluator. brandon rex and marrone all had theirs visions and Whaley helped build them He was given a list of needs and filled them every time.

kind of why i love the fact that Peterman has a "weak arm". When you dont have natural talent.... you improvise. Thats why Peterman is so good at anticipation. Everything would be picked off if he didnt have it. If he can learn a technique to put a little more zip on the ball. Man o man I liken it to Anthony Davis in basketball. He is so dominant now because he was a 6'3 point guard in high school and was heavily recruited. when he showed up at Kentucky.... he had a 7 inch growth spurt but the mentality of a point guard.
