    Maybe he was good... but I have a hard time evaluating the kid or anointing him as the guy against a bad defense playing a shell scheme where they just wanted to run clock. I would LOVE Allen to be the guy, but today told me nothing.

    Look man. You are excited. I get it. But there is nothing that was put out there to let us know he is the future. He could have laid an egg I would be saying the same thing. Baltimore didnt game plan for him. AND they were trying to get out of the game. Lamar Jackson got in on us. I'll give you the first series of the second half, it was ok.     Ok so the first drive where Allen had 40 yards or so. And it was a field goal. Hardly was game changing

    We regressed in EVERY phase of the team. It has to be hard to destroy a team you built, with principally the same players. We have a new DT, sort of LE, linebacker and corner and we are a world worse.

    How can we evaluate Allen based on today? He got in 40 down and Ravens all but called off the dogs. They sent a few blitzes but wait until we meet San Diego. Its going to be a party. I honestly am not anxious to get to next week.

    I figured they would suck but I also figured they would luck into 5 or 6 games. Had we not gone to the playoffs last year this would be the beginning of the end of McDermott and or Beane

    That's actually a good assessment. And are punts supposed to come off of your foot like that. They were all wobbles. The hang time and distance sounds nice though. Wonder when the rugby style kick will become more prominent
