I started a thread the day they traded Sammy “ Do you trust McBeane “ or something like that. I was absolutely on board at that point already. They got rid of a malingering D lineman, an over priced WR who wasn’t all that ( never liked Sammy from the word go). Darby going surprised me but I trusted them. They were doing it the right way. They had a plan and a type of player they wanted. Thank the football gods for McBeane !!!

It would be nice to be able to get Diggs and Beasely and Sanders second half rest throughout the year due to: - Jumping out to big leads. - A D that can hold those leads ( and add to them ) - Josh and Davis, Kumerow etc being on the same page and Josh having trust in them Happy to see these guys getting the reps. 17 games is a long season and I want fairly healthy receivers in the playoffs

Because of some of the GREAT catches Davis made last year and him not having a record of terrible drops of easy catches.

Linking this to the instinct threads, when he is just reacting he makes Sick catches ( Colts game, over the middle while getting mugged on a bad pass by JA) When he sees it coming, especially in the EZ you can see a full body pucker happen. When he does catch it in the EZ on the easy ones he turns into a statue and falls down like a statue…. It’s ugly! Kid needs a sports psychologist in the worst way.

The “ story” being sold here is that Darnold refused to hit his check downs as a Jet. He was prone to going off script and having turnovers because of it. Now it’s being reported that he only is checking it down and still has five picks in 4 practices. The Panther’s O sounds like a Shite show from what I’m hearing on local radio bug I haven’t followed it more than that. Personally, I’m not a Rhule fan. Seems like another Douchey college coach who thinks he knows better.

AND, Doesn’t it stand to reason that with Diggs, Sanders and Beasely he can’t help but get better because they won’t let it be otherwise. The kids gonna be fine and most likely improve.

Remember when Holmgren and GB kept losing in the playoffs until they didn’t. Same thing with P Manning. Losing the AFC Championship game was a steppingstone AND and a lesson.

He doesn’t have to prove he’s a “ Legitimate “ QB this year. Win games with his arm CHECK Win playoff games CHECK Hit the long ball consistently CHECK Improve his accuracy/ comp.% CHECK He’s not playing with house money but he has quickly garnered respect around the league.
