Saw this stat cited in another thread. Josh has been under pressure not solely due to the O line but they have played a large part. The play calling and the design of the offense have also contributed. In no universe is Allen not in a better position with a better O line and an O that isn’t predicated on him pulling rabbits out of his hat but that has an above average rushing attack which uses RBs and not him. This doesn’t change him or his ability to scramble and improvise it simply puts him in a better position.

I would like to see Josh run less and become more of a pocket / drop back passer. LOVE LOVE LOVE his legs and ability but it is a double edged sword. I watched Cam get run into the ground and not be protected from himself by Shula. Josh is already a much better passer than Cam. But, he also is reckless and it only takes ONE hit and he’s got an injured throwing shoulder. I want him here in 10 years with one of the strongest arms in the league. An O line and a rushing attack that doesn’t rely on him is what I would like.

I’m happy that the whole team is hitting its stride at the right time. However, the O line is still being elevated by the play of the QB behind it or running from it far too often. I loved the first TD to Knox but that is not what I want to see Josh doing. I want him sitting behind a fortress, taking his sweet old time or watching as they road grade for our run game. We have to take a lineman with me of the top 2 picks. Morse is no spring chicken.

I said after the first Pats game, when some where giving him too much grief, that he has “ Want to”. You can’t coach that. You either have some Dog in you or you don’t. You can coach discipline though. He seems like he’s got his head on his shoulders AND he loves smacking people. An instant favorite of mine.

I have to say, The Cowboys game was the first game in forever where I thought the Refs were actually getting it right. The penalties they were calling were conspicuous and egregious. Crazy that they were the # 1 O and looked that undisciplined and sloppy.

Tipped ball at the line at three minute mark in first quarter. Diggs drops a low one two plays later High and behind Davis with a lot of zip at the 13:20 mark in the 3 rd

Thought this was one of those shade posts on the “ Down low” at first😜 I can’t state strongly enough that this is the way it ALWAYS seemed to be for the Brady Pats and KC the last two years. KC was not getting those bounces a lot this year and suddenly Mahomes looked human.
