Yep. Some youngins on here didn’t see the Kelly era and don’t remember this same worthless devaluation of him back then. Kelly had some serious rough stretches during his SB seasons. You can’t win every game. Sometimes QBs go through rough patches: Marino did. Manning Did. Mahomes had a game where he threw three picks against the Fins at the end of last year?!?! Agreed. The first month is for figuring who your team actually is. Nobody seems to be talking about a large chunk of last years O success coming on non- designed rollouts by JA and receivers breaking to the sideline. We have invested a ton on the D line in the last couple years draftwise. Maybe, the calculation, in part, is JA is young and mobile. I would like to see O line addressed early and repeatedly next draft. In the meantime, The Bills O isn’t surprising anyone this year. Can they adjust? We shall see but it’s gonna take a bit.

I don’t see anyone talking about some of the EXCELLENT pass defenses against perfect JA passes, including one for a TD. Our D was improved and did a good job against N Harris. I agree with the sentiment that it’s sometimes good to get these wake ups, which it clearly looked like we needed.

In the first half, pressure caused BR to miss a few throws due to hurries. Second half, he got hit a few times and still made the play. Our D did its job.
