Honestly thought the same thing….
Josh and Brady get the credit. They won the games. McClappy was just along for the ride which is a microcosm of his tenure with Josh.
This is the “ We are always in it with Josh” argument.
Josh won the 13 Second game. That is the closest we’ve been. Coach lost it. That is the counter to your “ null and void” .
And, this D is absolutely ripe for the picking by numerous teams in the postseason.
Is it possible for everything to breaks just right? Yes.
Is it a high percentage possibility? Not at all.
It seems most know this.
What I don’t understand is how anyone trusts this regime to restock our D line or any other position, other than DB, with any degree of confidence they will get it right.
???????????????????????????????????
It is sadly amusing to watch a bunch of you act surprised by this.
It’s McD. It’s his scheme. It’s his and Beane’s idea of a defensive roster.
Lucy is gonna yank the ball away before you can kick it. She ALWAYS does. It’s a Fait accompli.
Today was one in a string of examples of why those who are objective about it say Josh is keeping him in his coaching position. Without Josh, he’s a .500 coach.
I don’t have a dog in the fight.
I don’t have a vote for the HOF selection either.
I never said he wasn’t a good coach. But, someone’s other than me decided he wasn’t elite.
And I fully agree that Great QBs afford good coaches the opportunity to be great. Which is exactly why McD needs to win at least one SB to attain that status.
It should NEVER have gotten to OT. That falls squarely on McD
