  1. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-plan-to-sign-quarterback-matt-barkley Darnold’s stats in Clt are even worse than with the Jets. Rhule’s decision to keep his former Temple player PJ Walker as the only backup QB is blowing up in his face. The Panthers are dumpster firing hotter than any other current team. Barkley is going to get fed to the wolves behind an O line that makes ours look like a Pro Bowl roster. I legit feel bad for Matt. I hope he gouges them for a tidy sum for the beating he is about to take.
  2. Agree on Ford…. Abysmal 👿 Seemed like a couple times,in the Jags game, Motor had a beautiful hole and cut it back into a defender. Seems to be a “vision” issue. He also runs square into defenders. He never seems to work angles at point of contact. My receiver/offensive scheme problem is this: We don’t get YAC. Diggs will go down instead of accepting contact. Sometimes I think this is prudent but other times there is a potential seam between defenders and he doesn’t try to exploit it. Beasely runs in a circle and falls… always. Sanders has blocking issues( last game at least) Daboll needs to scheme more shallow crossers and slants and we need to take the shorter stuff by design sometimes.
  3. Seems like the Pats defensive opponents might have some opportunities to express their feelings on the matter🤔
  4. Dudes holding it out close to camera. Oldest trick in the book.
  5. But….but…. Of “ Beane’s draft picks:” I thought Josh Allen was his only success 🤔😳😎
  6. I knew we should have traded Trubisky
  7. We are getting pressure with four. Star is back and playing well. Oliver has taken a step forward ( Mea culpa, I doubted he would) WE ARE STOPPING THE RUN. Which we didn’t do last year. We are trying and succeeding at keeping everything in front of us. Our DBs look better ( like some of us said they would) than last year because of improved line play. We bend but we aren’t breaking too bad. Tennessee was their worst game. Otherwise, the D IS doing it’s job on pace that is capable of getting us to the SB. If the O peaks at the right time and the D Holds serve , we are as good as any team in the league in 2021. I’ve been watching this team since 1980. This is the most complete team the Bills have fielded in that time.
  8. This is my feeling as well. We all saw what KC looked like in last years SB. Our O line is the weakest part of our team IMO. Josh is willing us to wins. It is kind of ironic that he played “ Run for your life” ball in college. In a perverse sort of positive way it is serving him and the Bills well , that he did. Go back and watch the last drive of last years Rams game. Josh was equally running for his life and moving us down the field. Exciting ? Yes. Recipe for a sustainable winning environment? No. There is nothing we can do this year other than hope the Football gods favor us with health and luck. However, the Rams, The Bucs and The Cardinals are all teams that scare me. With the Titans bad luck, I’m not terrified of anyone in the AFC.
  9. Points show up in the tie breaker formula so I don’t have any problem with them scoring. HOWEVER, Josh picked the O up, put it on his shoulders ( with some help from Beas) and carried the O. It was STUPID to put him at unnecessary risk for one extra point. If it was a pass, then i could honor the “ Live fire practice “ excuse but it wasn’t and it was a stupid play. Sometimes the coache’s job is to protect players from themselves.
  10. I grew up a mile from there and my Mom used to talk about how happy she was it never happened. As a kid, we used to hunt back there. There was a pretty big lawsuit that went on for decades regarding that site afterwards though I don’t know the particulars.
  11. Would have been nice to see a few of those in the second half two weeks ago😳
  12. That assumes he thought it was touched. If it wasn’t then everyone’s blaming him for not downing it and the ball going out to the 20
  13. He downed it. Once a player gives himself up on a live play he can’t advance the ball.
  14. The lack of better O line blocking coupled with mediocre backs certainly doesn’t help. Opposing D coordinators are picking their poison…..because they know it’s not deadly. Also, the league always catch up to new players and dare them to win from a disadvantage. While I hope to see Daboll and Co figure stuff out this year it would be nice to get better o linemen ( guard/center?)and another big bodied target for the RZ. Josh is under a lot of pressure and rarely has a clean pocket AND our run blocking is meh at best.
