And people say, when you are a coach you can make the decisions. But, I am absolutely positive there are at least 50 posters on this page who could make better pregame and in game decisions sometimes.

Hardball means they both go. Add one quality receiver and a coach who can use who we have and scheme them open and our O is plenty good enough with a competent D. D roster on the other hand, we need: CB 2 Safeties 2 LBs and that is at minimum There clearly needs to be a “ rebuilding “ year which is why it should have been at the beginning of last season before we let Beane shackle the team with some of these contracts. Just read this after basically writing this😁

Fear of the unknown is not a reason to continue a failed experiment.

If you think we can win a SB with McD going forward then you keep him. If you don’t then the sooner you rip the band aid off for the better. Brady is HC and OC and Babich is DC. If they absolutely implode worse than we currently are then it is higher draft choices for the new GM. We need one. However, sometimes teams respond to such changes well. Brady and Babich have less than stellar ingredients to cook with. I have a more than sneaking hunch they haven’t been granted autonomy by McD. Many on here are so sure that McD isn’t meddling to the detriment of our coordination. I am not. I know that the chances of this are slim to none but it doesn’t make it the wrong decision.

Because why? The D will look worse? The O will look worse? The team will look less prepared? ???

Yeah This didn’t just become a fact today. But, winning covers a lot of warts and now that we are not only losing but looking terrible doing it more posters are ready to acknowledge it. Josh has “ Elwayed” inferior teams and talent 4-6 games further than many other ( even decent to good) QBs could have. He has done this close to single-handedly more than a few times. And he has done that on the O side, carrying “ defenses” that were cruel jokes to those of us willing to be objective. In the process, he has made pedestrian receivers, tight ends, coaches ( OC + HC ) look more capable than they are. Take a second to think about all who have had their best or very good years on JA’s teams, only to fall off a cliff or disappear once gone. He covered for mediocre to poor o line play at the beginning of his career. One year in to the Brady OC era I suspect the Leagues defensive coordinators have had a chance to figure him out. Now it is a good o line, Cook and Josh that are carrying this O. But, the talent deficit coupled with the league catching up is becoming a limiting factor, even to Josh. For at least the fifth time on TBD, I’ll restate: I feel terrible for Josh the competitor. He has been absolutely pooched by the malfeasance that has been his coaching and GM through his career. Like a Greek tragedy 😔

Went “ on the record” three seasons ago. About two seasons ago I realized that Beane needed to go too. Chances are well over 50% that Josh is not winning a SB, imo. It’s been brought to my attention that this message really bothers a bunch on here…….oh well🤷‍♂️ The last three years have been a monumental waste.
