Tepper is so freaking stubborn you never can tell. But he just looks lost on the sideline .

I think he’s a douche. The local talk in Clt is they are now a playoff team because of him . I don’t usually call the local shows but I will be this week😈

The look on Bakers face every time they show him.

Egregious PI in the end zone against Panthers

Matt Rhule looks like dope every time they show him on the sideline. He reminds me of an Ewok. Faker just had his 4 th tipped pass and he just threw a pick. First of the three I predicted.

Just read this whole thread and RCR seems the only one to touch on Cook and the threat of his speed becoming the cherry on top to this rushing attack. Every year at the beginning of the season, there are silly over reactions about plays, players and coaches. This year, I see the least of these I think I’ve ever seen on here. Yes, we have a great team which would lead to it. But, we also look prepared right out of the gate, in a level we aren’t used to. This video was great as it shows the beginning of the process while acknowledging there is still work to be done. Gunner Bill was spot on about the elevation of O line talent, for me it’s Saffold and Brown especially. When we are halfway through this season and this line is comfortable with these blocking assignments AND hopefully Cook is comfortably carrying and protecting the ball at this level….. The speed he provides as well as shiftiness to maybe creat his own undesigned cutback lanes……🙏🤯🔥🦬

That dude takes mixing metaphors and elevates it into an art form! He starts a metaphor and then takes it somewhere and it’s a minute later and I’m waiting and yearning for the payoff……🤷♂️

I agree that Cam didn’t take the mechanics aspect of it anywhere near as seriously as Josh has. Lazy comparison ? https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/which-quarterback-has-the-most-rushing-touchdowns-in-their-first-4-seasons Cam had 33 Rushing TDs in his first four years Josh is second with 31 In the recent era the only other comparison MIGHT be L. Jackson but I wouldn’t make it. He isn’t nearly the passer of Cam and he is little compared to Cam and Josh. I think they are the only comparable players, existing in their own little niche.

Go punch a wall punch it again next week….. do it for 14 more weeks in a row….. See how your hand feels at the end of those 16 weeks. Give it a few months off and then start punching a wall again. Do that for 7 years in a row and see how much dexterity you have with the fingers on your punching hand. Injuries are Cumulative. It isn’t rocket surgery. It was an absolute sin the way Shula relied on Cam to generate Offense.

Baldy's Breakdowns from last night's demolition

Cam beat the hell out of his body, especially in the 2015 season. Again, we are talking about an accumulation of hits. Also, the news report was dripping with the “ Cam is a tough guy who can take it” BS that some on here are espousing about Josh. Physical trauma is what it is. My opinion, when you have a guy who can throw like Josh, you should use him as a passer. I understand he has to scramble and run SOMETIMES. I don’t believe if you took away three or four of his carry’s yesterday and gave them to the backs or McKenzie on a sweep , that we don’t still win the game decisively. I personally don’t want to see him carry the ball, by design as much…..especially with a big lead.

I would argue, that it was a cumulative injury with the last hit being a “ Coup de gras” of sorts. Josh has demonstrated the ability to Tom Brady the ball down the field. Brady is starting a game at the age of 45 this weekend. Josh won’t make 35 at the rate he is going physical punishment-wise.

https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/newton-to-have-surgery-on-partially-torn-rotator-cuff-will-miss-entire-offseason-workout-program/504676261/ Listen to all the poopooing of the severity of his injury. The dude ran the ball because “ He was competing “ and “ He’s tough.” He’s also finished and has been since 2017😕

In the 4 th quarter, when leading decisively, I think it should.
-
Don’t put him in RPO situations…. Problem solved.

I’ve been on my high horse about this for two years. He has 20 more games to play if we are going to hoist a Lombardi. His passing skills are very good. I understand the need to scramble when the pass rush is taking itself too far upfield …. But that’s a choice. I don’t understand 4th quarter, by design, when the game is in hand because it is incomprehensible. The only argument for might be to get many different plays on tape to give DCs things to think about and to set up for future offensive subterfuge. Shula and the Panthers RUINED Cam through overuse and not protecting Cam from himself. It CAN happen and then we are just a good team without a QB.

This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had

I think he will get chances as the season goes on. Keep some of them fresh and in reserve. We clearly have an embarrassment of riches💪
