Umm, a bunch have been denigrating the need for a running game. Grinding out the clock is a useful way to keep opposing offenses off the field.

Hot take: Secondary will be fine this week vs the fish.

I think it is sooner than later we start to move on from our safety tandem. Not to throw and shade or be unappreciative of how lucky we are to have them. Beane is going to have to continue to move on from good players with years left of effective playing if we are going to have continuing success as a team. Poyer and Hyde are not spring chickens and we have decent backups. Also, this FO seems to have an ability to pick DBs. -
Bills are smack dab in the middle of a Championship window

I remember watching GB lose to San Fran repeatedly in the playoffs….until they didn’t. The two biggest things that give me confidence: 1. The D line stopping the run ( our biggest D weakness for years now). 2. Josh understanding the Defense pre and post snap on a much higher level than before. He ran 2 times Monday night with only one by design. He didn’t scramble much either. If he can become the QB who can use his scrambling as a last resort….ooof!!!! He truly becomes one of the greatest of all time if he stays healthy for the long run. -
Our D line is much stouter this year. The Bull rushes from Rousseau, Epenesa, Phillips etc have been absolutely stunning and beautiful. Not only can we stop the run but we can get interior pressure regularly which makes every other positions job that much easier. Nothing is given, especially health but the front half of this schedule is tough. We already held two of the better looking teams to low yardage totals. By the end of this year we should be the number 1 Defense again. Offense….? If we continue to crush multiple teams this year ( which I think most of us expect) Josh and company could be taking a lot of drives off, thus limiting his and the O’s totals. This would be awesome! The Lombardi is the Only accolade they need.

We are at the absolute apex of Organizational success. We just destroyed two upper echelon teams. Josh demonstrably is reading opposing defenses on an elite level. The near, middle and long term future look the most promising in decades….. and your answer is to piss in the cornflakes? Sad! -
Uhh, Gugny, they are the Browns. That is a perfectly satisfactory excuse.

Do we not remember those second quarter dump offs to him in the KC playoff game last year?
-
Lamar Jackson played out of his mind and Baltimore looked good till their D employed the “Frazier 13 second “ plan. Miami played a good quarter?!?!
-
Tua will be running for his life. He will not stand up to the beating we will give him. We will not let Hill and Waddle be wide open like Baltimore’s D inexplicably did. Also, we have some payback for Hill and that smart mouth of his. It is going to be even more personal than usual the Miami week. Josh is like Neo, when Neo can finally read and control the Matrix. He is seeing Defense in a way we haven’t seen……maybe ever by a Bill’s QB.

This mean that other teams can only barely beat us but not dominate us or blow us out. This is a Good thing. -
