Being incredibly picky, I have noticed on the shallow crossers, Josh still tends to lead the receivers too much and put too much zip on the ball. While I enjoy the heck out of the aesthetics of watching receivers and tight ends attack the ball and hand catch they are ending up on the ground because the ball doesn’t allow them to continue with a comfortable stride.

First thought: Win the SB this year at all costs!!!! The future is an afterthought. Poyer and Hyde shouldn’t be extended if we win a Lombardi. They are both getting older and if we were to keep them it would have to be on short term deals. Oliver and David you resign. Edmunds…….?????

Broadcast team ripping Bflo weather
Buffalo Boy replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Uhh, Buffalo weather sucks much of the time. Stockholm syndrome if you don’t see it. -
Coaches like their players and their schemes. We see this over, and over, and over……..

He plays on the Panthers…. for Matt Rhule and Ben McAdoo
-
Don’t forget vision. CM has elite vision when it comes to setting up blocks and anticipation of where the holes will be much less are. Moss is beyond worthless at it and Motor makes some infuriating decision s in this regard also. Great backs can make something out of nothing and amazing stuff out of decent blocking. Dudes an elite back with little wear and tear the last couple years. Then there’s a question of over use vs proper use and a better strength and conditioning program here.

Their o line play is not good.
-
Marshall Faulk, Thurman Thomas….. good enough backs with serious receiving skills for you?
-
Which is why I’m a mailman🤣 This would be an INSANE get!!!!
-
He was rated the best route runner coming out in that draft…. Including receivers. Dude is a crazy YAC weapon who can be deployed so many ways.
-
Lombardi or ten years lineman…..hmmmm……let me think about it
-
IF you are right, you give next years first ( ostensibly a high second rounder) and you don’t look back.
-
Is he available????
-
Just heard this on Charlotte radio also. There is NO WAY we can take on that contract. Does he agree to redo the contract??? Doubt it. You put him in this O and we are unstoppable but I don’t see it happening and hope I’m wrong.

Local Charlotte radio reporting DC Snowe in out also

If the season ended today, the Panthers would have the top pick. The smart move would be to keep Rhule on and assure the #1 pick. They team needs a QB and this seems like the draft to do it. Question is can Scott Fitterer pick the right one?
-
😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🥲😄☺️ Not nearly as good as Chip Kelly. 27-21 with the eagles. Rhule 11-27🤮

The QBS after the Packers come to town aren’t good
Buffalo Boy replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s not forget we are 4-1 ( should be 5-0, thanks NFL screwjob) while going through a serious slew of injuries while playing the toughest part of our schedule. If karma/kismet/ the football gods deign to let us get healthy going into the playoffs this will be remembered as the most magical of seasons. -
Hamlin Hit/ New leeway for fake slides
Buffalo Boy replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall
But would he get it? We have seen Josh get smacked in the pocket after throws and not get a flag so ….. -
Hamlin Hit/ New leeway for fake slides

NCAA changed the rule because of him. -
Mahomes and Wilson have taken advantage of defenders pulling up near the sideline to gain more yards for a few years now. Some are calling it dirty. This off-season they said they would be allowing a little more wiggle room near the sidelines for defenders on slides. To me, it was a clean play regardless as Hamlin and Pickett initiated their action at the same time….. a bang bang play. Also, Hamlin wasn’t head hunting but lead with his body and shoulder sideways and low and not spearing headlong. If you are going to run as a QB it SHOULD be your responsibility to get out of bounds and protect yourself when your are close to the sideline. Defenders should not be expected to protect the QB. Pickett was trying to pick up as many yards as he could and was going forward till the last second and got smacked for doing it. I applaud Hamlin for his clean hit. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/09/10/this-year-will-officials-treat-running-quarterbacks-like-running-backs/amp/

No. Moss needs to be third string. My best guess is they don’t trust Cook’s blocking and blitz recognition. He has better speed and burst. He seems to have equal vision to Motor ( from what little we’ve seen). Cool got hit in the foot on his big run and didn’t go down like Motor last week.
-
I really wanted to see a lot more Cook from the outset of the second half. Good for Josh’s stats but we need to get a ground game going. If not in that situation, then when?
-
Remember too, this year the league decided to allow more contact on scrambling QBs after Mahomes was taking advantage of defenders pulling up, last year. To me, this was the reason they didn’t flag it.

Preseason, a bunch were rooting for Mayfield. I was in the other group and he and the Panthers are a disaster. There are rumors saying Rhule and McAdoo are not on the same page. Talk of Darnold being in consideration if he ever gets back. The Panther’s are going to get crushed today and Rhule may be gone before the month is out. Mayfield will be a backup starting next year….if he can stomach the role.
