Shakir has better hands than Davis. The few targets he got last year, he made beautiful hand catches, some contested and some in traffic. Shakir needs to be a bigger part of the O this year.

Gotta say, I’m a little disillusioned this year. I hate this about how I feel but I can’t not feel it. For me, a Lombardi is the only thing that makes this season a success. I am not super excited to wade through another regular season with another inexplicable playoff loss waiting at the end of it. BTSD….Bills traumatic stress Disorder The coaching staff is on my personal hot seat. Faith isn’t hope. Faith is something that’s been demonstrated recurring. What has been demonstrated in the playoffs is 💩 by this staff two years in a row. If the team comes out of the gate and just starts crushing teams and looks balanced this might abate but I gotta say. I’m not expecting that and hope I am WRONG😕

Pizza Shack The last night there, after three days of seafood, in a row, I had to have something else. Just wrote the guy a banging review on Trip Advisor for his pizza. It was 👍🏻

Wife and I were at Oak Island NC, this weekend . We couldn’t go past out our knees Saturday as it was brutal. As usual, there were a couple people , literally, out past the breakers.

I grew up a mile from BUF. Just flew in for a fishing trip in May. Runway construction has the planes landing over my old neighborhood. The best part of the Buffalo airport is you can get there an hour before your flight and make your flight!!! I don’t advise it but it’s true ….. so you have wiggle room on that end. In May, I got there 1 1/2 hour ahead of flight and sat at the gate for 40 minutes before an on time boarding.

As a kid, summer was magic!!! Funny how our perception of time changes as we get older. As a kid, I liked winter. As a teen, winters NEVER ended. I remember one April, hanging out in my buddies breezeway ( The party room) when we all realized we could go fishing the next morning because our favorite pond was probably ice free. Summers at Sunset Bay, Darien Lake, fishing, camping out on weekends. Buffalo is amazing in the summer. As we approach retirement, my wife and I think we might try to spend summers in WNY but haven’t quite figured out how as we don’t wish to own ( and pay NYS taxes) on property there.

Running and designed runs are completely different animals. He does not need to be running up the gut, on short yardage situations when the game is in hand. Cooke and Harris are both capable backs who need to be used a ton more than last year.
