This whole offseason has been Pats 101. I’ll give him the off season at least before I pull out my pitchfork.

Every year, we pick someone in the first and many on here LOVE the “ Can’t miss, steal” of the draft we got. Someone should bring up the Sammy Watkins thread and everyone should read how they were absolutely CREAMING over the bold pick!!! Beane is doing a classic Patriots draft strategy here. It’s the one so many have wished for. Now , many think he’s a bum and doesn’t have a clue😒 He is apparently not as enamored with these wideouts as many are. I’ll trust him to get it right. Lastly, we have no idea what he has up his sleeve . Breathe people! In through the nose, out of the mouth, in through the nose, out of the mouth.

Multiple thread on TSW say “ Yes!!!” Bills to SB, This team better than last year (?!?!) etc, blah, blah, blah…. This is 2025 is HOPEFULLY our next window opening stuff.

Maybe, just maybe, the plan is to hang McD out to dry while clearing cap space. That way, they can Can his arse late/ after the season and go into next year ready to fill the coffers for a “Not Schottenheimer 2.0” He also gets to blame the mediocre season on McD and get some of his ball boys on here to see the light. Some of the players we all just watched get picked are going to flat out suck. Hitting high draft picks should be easy but every year it isn’t. I’d love the WR double dip but I’d be shocked if they didn’t take a DB under that scenario.

The sad thing about this statement is how many on this thread have basically said the same thing. Have any of you “Josh is the second coming “ types actually watched this team the last few years. We can’t win games solely based on Josh being Josh. We actually lose games. Josh NEEDS a team that has other stars on it if we are going to win it all….. difference makers. We have Cooke and Kincaid. They are both very good, possibly great if things break right, but they are not enough. Who are the difference makers on D? Douglas is my only one. Josh has single handedly made a bunch of OCs and a certain HC look better than they are. Snap out of it folks. We need difference makers, on the field and in the coaching ranks. We don’t have them. Stats 🤷‍♂️ Zero argument that Josh needs/deserves more weapons…. But: Mahomes 17/23 for 215 (74%) for and 2TDs VS Josh 26/39 for 186 and one TD. Pacheco rattled off 97yds and a TD for a 6.4 avg. Josh got 72 yds and 2TDs. This was Belicheat ball 101. Control the clock KNOWING you’re the better team. Hit your shots when you get them and let the other team beat itself…… again. And we did, while hanging it all on Josh ( and some on here blaming him for the loss) Of course we aren’t getting to the Super Bowl this year. Give Josh any one boundary receiver of your choice and we still aren’t making the Super Bowl. This coaching staff did what, over the last four years, to make anyone think otherwise? They get your hopes up, play good teams well, lose absolute dreck games to teams they have zero excuses to lose to and crap out in the playoffs. Remember how we came out of the gates last year? If you specified “ Past the LOS “ or worse “ Over the LOS” then I’m probably at a zero. Honestly feel I’ve got five shovel passes and or passes to the backs ( behind the Los) , in me. Sure would like to make some of that third or fourth string money, though!

BB’s defense were often MONEY when it counted. McD’s usually aren’t even pocket change. I’ll worry about his Offensive prowess after he demonstrates some of the Defensive variety in the playoffs. Which , I’m guessing, is never.
