Watched the Panthers Patriots.We have the D to match them, it's the O I'm worried about. Hate we aren't seeing them soon as they are not that good right now. I don't believe their D remains that bad. They had multiple breakdowns today that you just don't see from them.

Here's the other thing, for all the pissing and moaning in the offseason about how "if our D last year had been good" we had to read on here. This is what Defensive Ball control games looks like. TT has his chances and it's no surprise to me that McD didn't want to give him more at the end. We won the game. D was playing well on the road. This O will be conservative this year. Live with it.

Second late on Int pass

EJ was screwed by 87 Cooke. Dropped two TDs on the same drive. EJ is good when he doesn't have to think. Throwing a ton of Beautiful passes.

How about the next throw to Clay that TT missed. All a coach can do is put players in the right position. Between Z. Jones drops and TT misses, we could have thumped them...... but we still won. This isn't a great team but they are scrappy and " Want to" can make a heck of a difference.

This is a formative year where the Coach and GM take stock in what they have, make moves to create the basis for future success and create the Team concept they want. This team is still middle of the road which is good enough to make the playoffs. Good coaching( or lack there of) makes the difference between who gets a wildcard and who doesn't. As I watched us get calls and bounces we never get I was reminded of that old saying: " Winners make their own good luck."

This was our biggest win since Greeb Bay. We ARE beaten dogs who have been taking it for a long time. The Patriots also look as if they are coming back to earth. I have to say it is still WAY TOO EARLY to declare anything about this team other than we have a legitimate chance to contend for the playoffs at this point. However, it is October first and a lot can change between now and late November/ early December

Maybe the difference between Rex and McD?Refs are people too and it's hard to respect the clown show we were last year
