I remember Levy being foisted upon us as a desperate attempt by Wilson for relevancy. Levy talking about him being a Yale guy and how smart he was🤮🤮🤮. The coach who made me cancel the NFL Ticket before he even played a game. Money well saved. 2. Flutie Hated him then, hate him now. I use to call chucking the ball into the dirt in front of the receiver a Feragamo…. Flutie supplanted Vince with that noodle of an arm. That stupid jump throw or fake jump throw. That smugness that belied a team carried by Phillips/Cottell defenses. 3. Sammy Watkins I was teaching a class that night and told my wife to call me if we jumped up to pick someone. I would have been home in time for the original draft spot. I wanted an LT. Don’t even remember who but I did NOT want to trade two firsts for a WR. There is a picture of me taking the call….. infamy. 4. Mark Kelso A trend setter. Wearing the poofy helmet shell Decades before it came into vogue. You knew he was going to allow the pass, miss the tackle or get steamrolled.

My bet is, they actually don’t know where he is or what he’s doing and they are CTA if it turns out he does something egregiously stupid. However, for all the offseason fun of treating him as a punching bag, an upright Rogers with a good rushing attack and that D can beat us twice…..🤷‍♂️

Josh is the only thing putting us in that position. He is picking the team up, and the coaching staff , and carrying them on his shoulders. That is not “ Super close” that is Super human quarterback play. IF he could get anything that resembled next level coaching to assist him we would have a chance. He doesn’t. You all can see it. The Chiefs were in full control of that last game. We were struggling to be in the position we were in. And he accomplished that in an era when you could still hit the QB.

First game September 7, 1980 Bills Dolphins with my Dad as a nine year old. Had never watched football. He was a mean drunk…. Except at Bills games…. The only place he was actually my Dad. He’ll be gone 40 years this October. And I still suffer acutely from the affliction called Bills fandom.

Which begs the question: If one can’t afford to live because of these onerous taxes ( which to some degree provide a benefit) how can one enrich a corporate racket that provides less benefit? Rhetorical question.

I lost my Arse as a 21 year old living in LA when the Bills lost to the Giants in the SB. It took me four months to dig out of that and I’ve never placed a bet since. A tough but excellent lesson on not pissing money away on chance. NC just opened up to online sports betting in March. In the first three weeks $659 million was wagered?!?!?! A ton of these people are the ones moaning and groaning about how broke they are and yet they throw their money into the trash for the thrill of it. I HATE that the NFL is in bed with these betting rackets. I also believe it is only a matter of time before games are influenced due to it. To believe otherwise is to ignore the whole of human history where riches are involved.

Sloppy out of the gate. Speed means nothing without accuracy. I hope Milano comes back close to form but that is another assumption that many seem to be taking as fact. In the end, I expect them to fold like paper tigers in the biggest end of season game.
