  1. About Effing time!!!!
  2. I agree and was happy to have them over KB, Clay, Holmes and Thompson. But UDFAs are UD for a reason. Would I like to see them go over 1000 yds. ABSOLUTELY! But, those are not my expectations. I saw entirely too many balls that were dropped or uncontested by all our receivers. I want a legitimate #1 receiver and TE. I don’t believe any of them are.
  3. We can do a heck of a side better on all three counts.
  4. Free agency and the draft will tell us what we need to know. My hope is they are not only diligent in acquiring talent but also in how they spend to acquire said talent. The have shown the ability on the defensive side to find diamonds where others saw coal. Can they do this with the O and surround JA with bonafide NFL talent?
  5. 1. JA looks like an NFL starting caliber QB. The game isn’t too big for him. He’s fearless but is also acceptably cautious which is nice to see. He is already starting to show situational understanding in real time. He has to work on his mechanics and I’m not sure if sailing balls over people isn’t something we will have to accept ? His slants today were atrocious. 2. The O-line wasn’t good but also wasn’t abysmal as the season went on. Really hope for both FA and draft help there next year. 2 solid starters would do wonders for it. 3. We need a punter and a new ST coach. 4. D-Line help. Interior with run stuffing ability is a must. Interior with ability to push the pocket would be sweet. 5. Daboll grew on me as the year progressed. Not in love with him but the O showed signs of progress and many plays were there to be had but failed: Drops, bad throws, called back on penalties. Receivers are needed who can catch and effort for the ball in contested situations. Penalties may go down as the team gets another year under its belt with coaching staff continuity. 6-10 is where I had them before the season with the hopes that JA would show improvement. He did and I like the draft pick a heck of a lot more than I did on April. Allen is my guy and I’m good with McBean so far.
  6. I would like to see Brees go out on to with a SB win. My second choice would be Rivers winning it all. Always felt like he was screwed by being drafted by the Chargers.
  7. 40 reception 513 yards 3 TDs ?
  8. I have never seen a Bills QB let down on as consistent a basis as this. It has been all year, every game, all receivers and tight ends. Brutal!!!!! I put some of it on coaching, some on the newness of the team and some on the lack of talent by the receivers. The back shoulder plays and outs need to be understood by the receivers. The fourth down play and the dropped TD to Logan Thomas were brutal. I do think that today was a valuable day of experience for JA. Give him 2 bonafide pass catchers today and we are in this game till the end.
  9. It was certainly nice to get what I hope is a glimpse of the future. JA was standing behind a wall a few times and making it through his whole progression. Credit where credit is due. They are all growing as a team.
  10. None that I can think of. Id be happy if they’d just make catches that were required as “ standard NFL catches” Josh has had a bunch of perfect TDs dropped. A couple games ago D. Thompsoncouldnt catch a cold. sad
  11. He seems to be a QB that will have to have an offense built to his strengths. I try to keep in mind that the game is still moving too fast for him but not as fast as it seemed before his elbow injury. I am absolutely encouraged by the way he lets it rip when he sees an opening. After watching JP, TE, EJ and TT this is a godsend. Considering how many catchable balls that have been dropped on him I think he a better instinctive passer than his stats show. I’m in the optimistic aisle pushing a huge cart of “ I been burned too many times to trust anyone” .
  12. No, but it wouldn’t disappoint me. I don’t hate Clay but his stay here has been one , protracted “ Meh”.
  13. When the ball is in both your hands, you catch it. It’s called being a starting NFL caliber receiver. He three from a bad angle, with bad mechanics and still put us in a position to win. There will be years of this to come as it is who he is as a QB
  14. Ten second run off isn’t necessarily bad
  15. Apparently hitting the QBs head is fair game
