Can the regular season PLEASE be here! That is all. -
Well, at least we know that he doesn’t know the meaning of the word quit. Dreams can be a tough thing to give up.

We moved to Clt in 98. Nascar was huge( I hated it and hated listening to it) It only took about a decade before it was an afterthought. This is the Epicenter of NASCAR country. Kids these days are weird as heck. They socialize on 3 inch screens and are overloaded with CGI. Dudes running around and catching balls isn’t what it was to those who got into football before computers. I know this is a generalization but times they are a changing.

Gives him a chance to get healthy and catch on with somebody if the chance arises. Life goes on

Baldy's Breakdown of Allen vs Panthers
Buffalo Boy replied to CNY315's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Losing Wood was a Wood choice. Cordy Glenn was injury prone and went on IR Incognito was ...... Incognito, it was time to let him go. Again, if I spend a dollar and make a dollar am I really earning or just holding serve. The point of having Star and Oliver is to chew up blockers and keep your MLB free to hit the correct gap without having to shed a blocker himself. Correct me if I’m wrong but the Bills Run D wasn’t very good last year, especially up the middle? -
Baldy's Breakdown of Allen vs Panthers

The first year they Lost/Traded Darby and Gilmore and Watkins. They also spent the first two years fixing the cap and taking BPA. So, from my perspective, they were replacing needs. If you are breaking up a previous incarnation of your team are you really building. Building started in year two with Star being a major addition. Couple Star with Edmunds and one could see that McBeane was building from the inside out. Also, year three of the McDermott regime is year two for McBeane. This team is still not a finished product and we have a serious need at WR still. So, if you want to argue that Draft picks are the only measure of how a team is constructed, yes, you are right. However, I Respectfully disagree with you. I saw guys being replaced with like guys in year one and an emphasis on the O-Line and interior Defense ( including MLB) since. -

Star, Phillips , Oliver, Ford, Morse, Nsekhe, Long, Feliciano etc Yes you can make the argument that they have brought in A QB and LB with high draft picks but it’s the spirit of what they are doing that I’m referring to. Beane watched Cam get beaten to heck behind crappy O Lines for years and he is not doing that to our Franchise QB A lot of people on here moaned about Star not living up to his contract. With Oliver next to him and Edmunds behind them watch how our Run Defense rank moves up in one year. There is only so much you can do each year but they filled the cupboard with good players all over the roster with the interior of both lines feeeling a good bit of that love. -

The best part???? They aren’t even a cohesive unit yet. As this season progresses( barring injuries) they will get better. Building a team from the lines out? McBeane is on it and it is gratifying to watch. Also, Josh is a worker. You just know this cat is going to be killing it in the film room. His ability to read Defenses is going to grow and grow??? -
Not an NFL QB

I only have the basic package ( $47.52 a month) I called and was immediately offered $12.25 off a month so $220 instead of $ 293. I’ll take it. I can’t get my LG tv web browser to open Reddit. It keeps telling me it times out. I’m looking at running a hard HDMI cable from the computer to tv and getting Reddit that way. The only problem is the streams can get wonky or not be as clear. I guess I should just stop being such a cheap Pollock and not worry about $200+. It really isn’t that much but I LOVE to haggle?

Ed and Star are going to keep him clean!

Late night discussion: Should Josh Allen run less in 2019?
Buffalo Boy replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Less!!!! As I stated in the Training camp thread , they had him run an option play against the Panther’s D. He kept it and ran just off LT into LBs. I also noticed that the pocket they are forming really pushes the DEs up field forcing him to step up into the pocket. At the same time it is leaving him and out on either side. I think it will be a struggle for him not to take advantage of those openings. When the bleep is hitting the fan it seems to be a natural instinct for him to bail out. One good hit is all it’s going to take to end a season for him. I want to see him, with time behind a good line, figure out the passing game. It means a fewer wins in the short term but could really pay dividends in the future, both health wise and passing production wise -

Bills TC Day 15 (8/14) Joint Practice #2 with Panthers
Buffalo Boy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cam will never be the same because of the beating he took that season -
Went to Easely SC immediately after practice for a karate workout with a good friend so I’m late with these observations: Pros: - The O-Line looks good. Feleciano snaps looked consistent in the shotgun. The center of the pocket held. Long did not snap as well with some high and one low one. It seems as if they are really focusing on driving the DEs up field and having JA step up. - Singletary looks good. He sticks out. He’s quick and patient at the same time. We have a diamond in the rough at a minimum. - Barkley is the best backup we’ve had since..... Flutie. He ran the offense better than JA. He’s knows where he’s going, he’s decisive and he threw some longer balls that were perfect passes and dropped. - Beasley is just a pro. Having his consistent presence on shorter routes is going to be huge for JA. Before I do cons I want to state that it’s hard to get a read on D because both teams were being careful out there with each other. There was one big hit by a Bill which I heard but didn’t see because I was looking through the binoculars at the far field. Other than that, there some easy takedowns and a couple of decent form tackle pops but the Defense was muted. Cons: JAs accuracy. He throws high consistently. It’s not that he didn’t make good throws. He hit some slants and crossing patterns perfectly. He dropped a nice 30+ yarder in the corner of the EZ that was spot on but got broken up . But, overthrew a wide open somebody( again, forgive the lack of player names but through binoculars, on a crowned far field with players on the sidelines between, it was rough) on a blown assignment by a solid five yards. As stated in a post earlier, throwing simple five yard outs his accuracy was sketchy. Watching Barkley and Cam made it even more noticeable. - While not necessarily a con, JA doesn’t process as quickly as Barkley. I say it might not be a con because training camp is the time to work on mechanics as well going through his progressions. He seems comfortable holding the ball a little longer than makes me comfortable. He does have pocket presence and moved in the pocket a few times to buy time. That being said, the D was playing with kid gloves and we will see how that looks Friday. I didn’t see him get legit sacked. - Our receivers dropped too many ball for my liking. Easely dropped a Barkley TD in the EZ and there were some others that needed to be caught. - Jackson is a nice story. He doesn't look like an NFL QB . - Cam seemed to consistently put the ball wherever he wanted against our DBs. I was impressed by his passes considering all I’ve heard about his bum shoulder. It looked fine to me to the detriment of our D. They did get a pick on him on a ball tipped at the line( I jumped up and screamed to the displeasure of a hill full of Panther fans.) Also, one of our interior D lineman drove a double team back into their back up QB Allen and knocked him down. I made an ass of myself on that one too? In terms of which team looked better, I hate to say it but the Panthers O looked markedly better than ours did when JA was in there. It’s one practice so I’m not making anything of it but that is what I saw. Also, they actually ran a read option keeper with Allen which I was surprised to see in camp. Especially against another D and he ran right into the arms of waiting LBs who were nice to him. I don’t want to see him running that play often ?
