The Jets D Line was supposed to be a real test. A bunch of bad teams allowed better teams to beat them. When evenly matched teams meet with good defenses and work in progress offenses , at the beginning of the season, low scoring affairs are often the outcome. Im guessing Packers fans haven’t mailed in the season with their O producing 7 less points than us with their HOF QB.

The Packers, a consensus SB contender put up 10 points in what was an equally hard to watch game. Its the beginning of the season where O generally is behind D.

I didn’t pipe in during the game threads as I was entertaining. I’m calling BS on all you “ Fair Weather” fans throwing this Offense under the bus before the game was over. Shameful!!!!! This was ostensibly a fifth preseason game for the O which has been almost completely rebuilt from last year. NFL games and seasons are Marathons, not sprints. Kelly and Crew had absolute 58 minute stinkers, with multiple turnovers and still pulled them out. I Billieved the whole game !!!!!!!

At the AFC championship against KC we tried to storm the field but Mr. Wilson has half the Sheriffs Dept. there on horses! We were in the non tunnel EZ and the security guys were actually pushing people back up into the stands. My buddy Jay leaned over and grabbed a Burke Security guards hat and took off up the aisle???. I think he still has it.

My first game ever. Nine years old. Been hooked ever since. I had seasons in 88 and was at the Jets game also. Awesome days!!!!! I so hope we are on the cusp of a similar era?
