  1. To paraphrase Brady’s wife, He can’t catch the balls too. The whole O is a work in progress. Beasely doesn’t catch everything he should. Our TEs as a group have some bad, drive killing drops in multiple games. O line seems better suited to run blocking. I see many times when11 guys aren’t all on the same page which is the definition of “ Not Gelling “
  2. Just reporting what I’m hearing on WFNZ in Charlotte. No one has set a time to play just that he is to resume practice. I originally tried to post this in the Cam Trade thread it was shut down as I was writing it so I copy/ pasted here.
  3. Kyle Allen is a backup , game manager playing with a D and rushing attack that is making his life easy. 7 takeaways by the Panthers D on Sunday!!! Cam is supposed to start practicing next week. The consensus here is he will sit the San Fran game and come back, at the earliest , the game after. It will depend on how his foot reacts to practice as a Lis Franc is a tricky injury to heal. Healthy Cam’s ceiling is stratosphericly higher than Kyle Allen’s. IF, Allen destroys the San Fran D it might go differently but the Panthers want to see Cam so they can decide which direction to go in next year.
  4. Philly is looking meh, the Cowboys are entering Suck-ville and NE is there for the taking. I hope the bye has been put to good use and JA comes out with more patience and command of the O. Add that to Singletary and possibly Foster and we are poised to start making some real hay.
  5. I miss my old girlfriend from LA, and being in my twenties?
  6. They just opened a Wegmans in Raleigh Durham so..... A two and a half hour drive, workout at my buddies dojo and shopping at Wegmans followed by lunch with another friend?
  7. There are only three teams on our remaining schedule that will get us respect: Philly, Dallas and NE. Even if we start steamrolling the other teams it will take victories over Philly and Dallas to get us real recognition. I’m with you though, I love the underdog roll.
  8. A PERFECT post!!!!! Amen to every thing you wrote.
  9. While Koochlee wouldn’t suck CMC is Marshall Faulk good..... or better. A fan can dream?
  10. In an alternate universe, you put him on our team currently and we are in the SB contention mix.
  11. When you are coaching a Green QB on a rebuilt offense you don’t come out firing on all cylinders. It takes time for all 11 guys to find their groove/ cohesion.
  12. Just heard KA had a pick and fumble wiped away by penalties yesterday! Panther’s fans aren’t buying him.
  13. Agreed. It will pay dividends in the future though. JA needs the reps which he is getting while we win.
  14. Three games ago , there were a lot of posters complaining on here about the “ Conservative play calling”. Also, the fact they were using Frank Older than Dirt Gore On said plays. This week , many wanted Singletary rushed back. We have started to show teams they have to honor our rushing attack for its power. They also have to honor our rushing game for its trickiness. A nice situation to be in! AND, Singletary has had a month to rest/ rehab the hammy.
  15. He was 6 of 16 on passes over 5 yards yesterday. So far, 2 of 7 on passes ( in air) of 20 or more. First three games 5 sack for five fumbles. He fumbled again yesterday but they recovered the ball. The Panthers are getting HOF level play from CMC. Their D is also holding up their end( till yesterday?) WE have the Right Josh AND Allen?
  16. The beauty of Dukes play was he ran at the DB as if to run block and broke off on the slant at the last second. Also, Allen standiNg in there as his lineman was bull rushed into him. Every part of that play was beautifully executed!!!!
  17. But it is a better FO, better coaching staff, better D and more capable QB....... so there’s that?
  18. Simple, we have a young QB who hasn’t had the game slow down for him. You can see when he gets it and when he doesn’t. On the Duke TD he got it. He understood the play design. Believed it would work and stood in their with good mechanics with his lineman being bull rushed into him. On the Smith TD, same thing. He looked off the safeties and LBs and threw a perfect touch pass from a good base. On other plays, he just doesn’t see open guys which leads me to believe he doesn’t fully understand the plays design and what he is seeing from the D, pre snap. He is growing and learning. It is going to take time and I do t expect him to really hit his full stride for at least another season. Having a stud # 1 receiver wouldn’t hurt though.
  19. 71.9 % today with a couple TE drops that might have made it higher. He’s still learning and honing and the game seems too fast for him at times. This is to be expected. I love the smart plays he did today. Throwing it out of bounds or at his receivers feet. He also took a sack where he secured the ball and went down without a struggle. And then the stupid Int. I see a young QB who’s on the right trajectory.
