Not picking on you but remember a few short years ago when there were multiple 30 page long threads about how TT was/wasn’t a potential long term starter? The fights on those threads as posters vehemently defended him? JA is clearly a starting level QB if TT was? Crown him! He absolutely lost his mind and crapped the bed in the first NE game. The coaches reeled him in and made him go back to square one. He made a few “ Hero ball” throws in those next few games and then those disappeared. He, the Offense itself, Daboll up in the booth, it’s all finally coming together at just the right time in the season. And, nobody nationally is buying it which I love. This whole league is schizophrenic in terms of multiple teams up and down play and our steady growth is able to hide within it. I said in another thread, his growth won’t be linear and he could have another bad game but he’s got the “ Want to”, the tools and the “ It” factor which he demonstrated Thursday. I’m not expecting a win next week but neither am I sure of a loss against one of the two or three best teams in this league. It’s been DECADES since I felt this way.

IF we beat Baltimore then the sky is the limit. If we are on, there isn’t a team we can’t beat in this league!!! My worry is JA is still young and his progress won’t be linear. That was The best game of his young career. I hope he keeps it at that level but I won’t be surprised by a stinker in these last four games.

You can hop a taxi for $15 to a bar close to wherever you are staying. Playa Del Carmen will definitely have bars showing the games. I watched the SB there and have watched other games in the past. Puerto Adventuras and Puerto Morelos and Tulum also will have bars that show games. Drink XXs or such from a bottle and you’ll be fine.

Completely agree. I LOVE Sundays at 1 pm. I don’t like 4 pm, hate the evening games and want no part of Monday or Thursday nights. However, I did love the Thanksgiving game. I wish they would get rid of the Dallas and Detroit hosting it tradition..

As a guy who’s reffed Karate events and had students compete for decades I can tell you Refs are human and have favorites. You are hiding your head in the sand if you think Refs don’t favor some and punish others. Now, is there a “ Conspiracy “ ? Probably not but it’s hard to watch JA get hit by two players while sliding and not get flagged while we touch DP’s collar and they get 15 yards????? Du Fudge is that??? Cam Newton had to call the Refs out as they watched him getting helmet to helmet speared and he still couldn’t get a flag. One thing I think the whole board can agree on is the reffing SUCKS in general.

I had 11-5 and had them winning this game. I caught tremendous amounts of flack from all the Cowboy fans at work. Monday morning I am going to wear them out???

Kid was money today!!! A couple of his incompletions were impressive. The one to Knox was perfectly covered. My favorite was the one to Foster on the sideline because he put a ball in there to let his receiver go try to get it. He is absolutely growing into a great QB.
