Result - voting for Josh Allen top 10 plays
Buffalo Boy replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Can’t wait to see empty backfield Diggs, Brown, Beasely, Knox and Singletary Or one of the rookies. I love watching a QB with arm talent. Even better when he’s a Bill? -
What are the expectations of Mario Addison?
Buffalo Boy replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
“The Addison deal is guaranteed at $15 million compared to the $21 million guaranteed Lawson received.“ From Syracuse paper. I remember hearing this at the time. It’s always about guaranteed money. The rest is just bragging rights for the player ( except earn able bonuses, I suppose) -
What are the expectations of Mario Addison?
Buffalo Boy replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We got Addison for considerably less than Lawson Signed for. Just a hunch and opinion but I don’t think Lawson keeps it up now that he got paid. Not at last years level. Addison on the other hand was undrafted. He bounced around before coming to the Panthers and still had to work his way up the ladder. He was always a high motor, low drama guy. A total “ Process” guy. I think he brings 9-10 sacks and a couple more forced fumbles to the table this year. I also think he is going to make Hughes better as there will be two bonafide rushers on the outside now. If Oliver has gotten stronger in the Offseason (now that he has a year under his belt and knows what to expect) and gets more consistent push up the middle, I think Addison makes us better. -
I hope they refuse to entertain trade offers, he holds out TO style and a bad situation is made even worse???

New Era Coming up on its 50th In 3 Years !
Buffalo Boy replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was two. Growing up , I always heard about the Domed Stadium they were supposed to build by Lancaster High School and the law suit about said stadium. My Mother always said she was happy it was never built because of the traffic and “ Mess” it would have brought. Buffalo really does need a new stadium. At some point the Bills will move to greener pastures. Maybe not under Pegula( who we are lucky to have) but the next owner may not be as hometown centric. -

Ending the National Anthem Debate
Buffalo Boy replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about the President of the USA starting a BS war in Iraq and refusing to let the flag draped coffins of our Dead service members be shown ? Then having the flag as a backdrop for “ Mission accomplished” as more of our men and women were sent off to their needless deaths. That , imo, was a thousand times more egregious than a man peacefully protesting the killing of innocent people. -
I agree completely.

How about we send LJ back in time to the era when QBs actually got hit .... hard..... a lot. Then, and only then can you make a fair comparison. Good thing he’s playing in an era when if you sneeze on a QB, it’s fifteen yards. You sneeze a second time and you’re out of the game. Same thing for hitting receivers.

flash in the pan phrase of flash a thing or person whose sudden but brief success is not repeated or repeatable. Maybe he goes on to have an amazing career. But it will take ten years minimum before we know. Bledsoe didn’t miss a ton of games.... running around like a chicken with its head cut off is not a recipe for a long NFL career.
-
Bledsoe has a much stronger arm than LJ. One of the reasons I’m high on Josh. When LJ gets to a Super Bowl we can talk. Love me some cannon armed, prototypical pocket passing QBs.

?

Still not buying LJ. Watching him suck throwing outside the hash marks in the Titan’s game , I feel like last year was his flash in the pan year. Not just because of him, either. It seemed like a Magic year for the Ravens which I’m not sure they repeat.
-
I HATE,HATE,HATE to throw the Cheatriots any props but Bledsoe and Brady should fit your description.

Josh Allen meets with media 6/11
Buffalo Boy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not to go on too much of a tangent but this is another sign , imo, that Daboll and the O need to have a breakout season. I just have the suspicion that a “ Guru” type OC and the kind of staff one would assemble might be part of the semi-near future. -
WaPo article on Bills by John Clayton
Buffalo Boy replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Been thinking this exact same thing since the moment the play happened. I’ve also been cringing/ angry every time I’ve heard JA get mocked for doing this in a playoff game. Dude was trying to win! I’m still miffed and the lack of help he got on some of those plays in the second half. Also, I don’t think that is the last of the laterals we see from this kid. Done correctly with a back or receiver ( Or Knox?) who are aware of the possibility of it happening ..... Could be Gold. -

You could say this about a few guys. If Knox, Singletary or Moss have a major breakout year and Diggs is Diggs.....? -
Josh Allen and the Check Down Pass
Buffalo Boy replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I ABSOLUTELY love everything this post is about, getting the ball into Singletary and Moss’ hands on the short play should be a larger part of his game this year. When he has other playmakers he needs to learn to trust them. It also has the effect of causing opposing Defenses to have to honor the short play which eventually opens up the Intermediate and deep stuff. -
Bleacher Report induced discussion ??? Real Football can’t get here soon enough? If the O line comes around ( continuity) , Knox discovers the ability to catch the easy passes and JA hits the long ball 50% better than last year the Bleacher Report will have us Top 5 next year at this time( barring draft upgrades.)

Brian Daboll press conference 6/5
Buffalo Boy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is clearly a leader and not a Boss. The problem with dominating those under you is, in the end. All you have is followers. Daboll understands that the “ team” has to create its own leadership.
