13-3 Losses to SF, Seattle, Titans

Chiefs, 49 ers, Seahawks and Steelers are the only games I won’t call a win right now. Providing the usual disclaimers about injury and the like 12-4 seems the correct call. Our schedule starts easy and I feel we are a “ Team” on both sides of the ball and between the FO and coaches. I think this legit leads us to some early season blowouts that make the doubters wake up and take notice of us. The game I’m “ Circling” is the 12/13 game against the Steelers. That may well be the game that gets us a Wildcard weekend bye or not. It remains to be seen how BRs elbow holds up and his throwing could be shot by then. I say 13-3 with the Titans, Seahawks and 49 ers our losses. We make the AFC Championship game and....,

Agreed. The question is: Do we trust McBeane’s drafting acumen in the future? I do. It’s the second through fourth round steals that will make or break this teams future and I’m feeling really good about that future.

Just watched this. We are still a team that many are sleeping on. I know some in this board agree but nationally Josh is not well thought of. Many are certain he has no chance at progressing. Watching the “ no pad, no contact” practices , he is throwing a better long ball with air under it. We all watched every other teams QB get bailed out by their receivers last playoffs on multiple “ inaccurate “ passes. This is the year our receivers do the same. Last year, Allen was clearly held back and “ took” the coaching and played safe but hesitant at times. This year, I see him throwing into tighter windows and throwing more contested balls to Diggs and Brown and Knox, with the coaches blessing. Shades of Kelly in the Cleveland game.

Any games JA has to miss will suck. If he were to miss 2 or 3 and we won one of them, I would be happy. The kid has SOME talent and I would assume would only be expected to run a Ball control O.
