I’m remodeling my Bathroom myself. Today is mudding and taping and sanding drywall all day. Usually it’s homemade wings in the turkey fryer. My boy’s last day home from college Christmas break was the Bills Texans game so we did our wings then. So, pressed for time , tonight we are having Cevapi with Ajvar on pita bread with fresh Molson beer( which we can’t always get in Clt) Cevapi are skinless Croatian sausages and Ajvar is this awesome roasted red pepper relish you serve them with.

If you put Greg Olson on the Bills today he is immediately our best TE and tied with Brown as our best receiver. Much like Gore was brought in as a role model, GO is a professional’s professional, as well as, a veteran leader for the whole O, including Josh. I understand he has a waiting broadcasting career and diminished skills but he would still be an amazing get for this team on a one or two year deal. I am majorly in “ wait and see” mode on Knox and Greg would be the best coach the kid could have. He would also be a coach for JA in terms of reading D and finding openings in zones. Dude can block also! This is a no brained pick up if McBeane can entice him.

Special teams was Meh. It didn’t hurt us ( First NE game?) but it didn’t help either. Wanting a better punter and kicker is good. Getting one is a different story. Also, our gunners blocking was consistently lacking all year. I didn’t see us knock one guy off his line, much less out of bounds when we received. I would like to see the bottom of the roster get stronger which is a product of Beane continuing to increase the talent level.

Roberts was consistently taking it out of the EZ. I may be wrong but I believe they count yards deep, in the EZ , as part of the return. Someone else stated it but if he just knelt every ball we may have fared better.

Lead the league in fewest ST penalties with 10 penalties. That’s not even one a game. We noticeably weren’t picking up the dumb Block in the back penalties we always seem to. He doesn’t have the distance he had and McD was making decisions around the 35 yard line based on an obvious lack of trust during some games this year. My eyes didn’t misconstrue that?

This seems really surprising. I felt like our punting was Meh, Haushka wasn’t reliable, Roberts didn’t return squat..,.. The lack of penalties was noticeable though. I will say this, it didn’t feel like they made an appreciable difference in any games but these numbers say I’m wrong?

Just heard on the radio that SF’s RB Mosart had less than 400 yards total in five years leading up to this season..... A Dime a dozen when your O line zone blocks like that.
