I hate to start throwing Beane and co under with McD but he’s had enough shots at the Draft and who are the HOFers, not including Josh? The things the young ones on here maybe don’t remember is Polian absolutely stacked those late 80s early 90s teams with Crazy Talent. We are already into the second generation of Beane talent and the first didn’t knock anyone’s socks off. I get that we were perennially drafting late in the rounds but right now, to me, last years first two picks were possibly his best one two punch to start a draft. Some of his second picks each year have been🤔🤔🤔. Long story short, the idea that having Cap space next year is going to allow us to restock is iffy at best.

In terms of Josh, I don’t disagree he was on 11😜 . It was to be expected in his first playoff game and I gave him grace at the time. I still felt like he did enough and when stuff started going sideways he felt it was his duty to make something happen. Everyone was baggging on him for the lateral the next day, including the national narrative. Mahomes does that and he’s being magical?!?!. It was a good experience for the whole team and a young team going to the playoffs usually goes through growing pains. It’s the seven years later with nothing to show for it that s concerning.

Disagree In general, Josh playing in his first playoff game did more good than bad. There were a couple dropped passes , one at the 4 or 5 yard line that Josh placed perfectly ( can’t remember receiver) I swear there was also a dropped TD. Also, that was the Cody Ford blindside block call in OT game. The next year the NFL was using the same play as a case study for a legal block. Let’s not mention the TD taken away at the beginning of the second half.

This presupposes that both of them will have success if/when they are double covered consistently as opposed to last year. I do have some hope that Brady will be better passing game scheme-wise with a full offseason. However, it remains to be seen.

So, a Defensive coach who played the percentages ( kinda, they had timeouts) instead of understanding the nuances in the most important play of the season? He went with what he was comfortable with and let Kelce run free.

McD’s D sucks when it bumps up against excellent teams and coaches. Absolutely!!!! “ Big time players make big time plays.” I said this last year before the KC game. It is never too big for him. McD however, is another story. The bigger the game, the tighter the sphincter.

All I see is a Meh roster overall and them sticking with people who are Meh and bringing in bargain basement players who are Meh. Underwhelmed is the word of the day.

Second year without. As others on here have said for years, there are other ways. The NFL and its corporate greed has become more of a turnoff the older I get. Coupled with the numerous national games and my low expectations, it isn’t worth it.
