  1. Any time he catches a dig he turns around and gets tackled or falls down. We can do better at that position.
  2. For me it’s Beasely. He has too many, “ Hit em in the hands “ drops. Last year, the excuse on this board was Allen was throwing the slants too hard/fast. Same crap they said about Elway when he came into the league. I don’t hate Beasely but he has too many drops that a possession receiver should not miss. Sometimes, like last week it is a lack of concentration which is inexcusable for a veteran receiver. Mark my word, he’s going to have a brutal drop in one of the big games that is going to kill a drive on a very catchable ball.
  3. I was thinking more of “ Possession receiver.”, especially on the one in the middle when he got sandwiches. I appreciate him being will infectious do it but I do t want to see it often.
  4. Nobody’s talked about the beating that Diggs took Sunday. He got rocked on few of those catches and hit on most of them. I’m surprised it’s Brown as I half suspected to hear Diggs was dinged up.
  5. It sure looked that way. As Diggs caught the ball Brown was standing a few yards down the sideline from that spot. Play design error or Browns error but it didn’t make sense.
  6. How many times have we watched NE KILL us with well timed and executed screens? So, nice to see multiple screens called and executed. My favorite was to Knox. That’s a whole lotta Rosie to tackle.
  7. It’s awesome to see veteran savvy that belies his experience level! First that TD that was All him working to get open. Now, Veteran leadership displayed on calling Bad Sushi stinky. 💪💪💪
  8. If they want to do designed runs, put him in five WR , empty back field set and let him make the choice from there. Putting our most important weapon in the middle of the front seven? No thank you!!!
  9. We should be able to get the run game going this week. A perfect chance for Josh to his some long ones to Diggs and Brown. If we manage to do both , it will be the blow out we hoped for last week. This O needs to realize how good it can be.
  10. I caught the end of the first half and first part of third Quarter. I watched the Steelers d line pushing the Giants around and Ben looked good on the scoring drive from 9-16. I hope you are right. I think our matchup will have Bigtime playoff seeding implications and admit to still having an inferiority complex with the Steelers. Agreed but still nice to see.
  11. Woke up to a nice surprise this morning. Yahoo Sports has us ranked # 4: Ahead of Seattle, Green Bay, Pittsburg and San Francisco NBC Sports has us ranked #6: Ahead of Pittsburg and Green Bay PFN has us 12: Typical “ Josh Sucks” Dreck Watching the Steelers last night, I thought they looked good on both sides of the ball. It’s only one game but Ben’s arm looked good. Being ranked ahead of them and Seattle in two ( albeit clickbait) power rankings is a step in the right direction. It is a sign that some are starting to take the whole team, including Josh, seriously. https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/nfl-power-rankings-should-there-be-any-concern-about-jimmy-garoppolo-and-the-01-49-ers-053847579.html https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/49ers/nfl-power-rankings-2020-week-2-standings-all-32-teams-league https://www.profootballnetwork.com/nfl-power-rankings-week-2-2020/2/ https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-power-rankings-week-2-packers-vault-into-top-three
  12. It was a great surprise. The bubble screen to Beasely was perfectly set up and perfectly thrown and he dropped it🤨 We have the skill position players to run an excellent screen game.
  13. Your not kidding. Nationally, Josh is not respected. After this week, we will hear about overthrows and fumbles and blah, blah , blah. Meanwhile, Brady and Brees and Wentze looked like unpolished Turds and they will have excuse after excuse made for them. Josh isn’t perfect but he can be a 60 + percent passer With escapability built in.
  14. A roll out with a chance to throw, I like. It’s JA’s decision and he’s not in traffic. Options I don’t like. Using it from time to time is good. IMO there were too many today.
  15. Threat doesn’t equal design. The threat of a broken play is far different from having him go up the middle of the D in heavy traffic.
  16. The crazy thing is JA showed amazing pocket awareness today. Heads above anything he has ever consistently shown in any game before. He also showed the ability to find open receivers and take what was given. It WAS criminal to call that many designed runs and that many options. I’ve been saying is since before last season and I hated seeing it Today when it wasn't necessary And detrimental
  17. So disagree with this. The option looked like crap today and it puts our QB at risk and the ball at risk of being fumbled. We knew the Jets D line was the real deal and they showed it today. They got some screens to work and some not. They ran more screens today than I remember in forever. This shows me the coaches we’re looking to nullify the rush. I feel like they should have been pitching it out and running a few more dump offs and bubble screens in lieu of running up the middle on this D. I’m watching Bucs/ Saints now and there is some brutal passing in this game on both sides for sure.
  18. My favorite was a rookie Moss keeping a play alive and finding the soft spot in the EZ for a Josh hot ball for the TD. Veteran awareness from a rookie in his first start.
  19. This!!! He didn’t need to be running the sweep he fumbled on. We have skill position players who can do that. I don’t like the option play as a staple ( which it seems to be). He showed great pocket awareness today! If it breaks down and he can get some with his legs cool but the designed runs need to be held for special occasions.
