Broncos acquire QB Teddy Bridgewater for 6th round pick
Buffalo Boy replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It make less than ZERO sense because he was getting cut!!! The Panthers have been openly crapping on him since the end of the season and signed Darnold ( a bad joke in itself) . That the Panthers got anything for him is a coup!!! Listening to radio in Clt. Bridgewater earned $42 million in 17 months!!!!! Good for Teddy. -

Afternoon show in Charlotte was reporting that NE was in contact with the Panther’s regarding the trade up to 8. -
This is me to a T. If we are all being honest , one year ago most of us were trying to still talk ourselves into him being a “ Top Tier” QB in this league. I wrote something like, If he can just convert on 50% of the long balls he missed last year he will have made a major stride. Then he comes out in the Miami game and starts dropping dime after dime on the deep crossers and I’m like 😱. Even after the four game start he had before getting injured many on here still doubted him and chalked it up to a flash in the pan. I think it’s just a symptom of having been teased and abused for the previous two decades. For me personally, I have enjoyed the heck out of watching and hearing sports personalities have to finally come around and give him props, some very grudgingly.

Ahhhh Just like the good ol’ drought days when every thread devolved into two or three pissing contests. Oh, how winning has ruined this board😜

Just watched this WHOLE vid. OMG!!!! Crazy how much this kid has run for in the last three years. I forgot how bad that first seasons O line was🤮. In my mind, he had developed pocket presence last year. Seeing this, I realize it was always there he just became more comfortable and had much better protection, especially in 2020. I feel like they need to go all in on D this year while he is still young ( except for RB). When he gets a few more years on him he can’t be expected to run at that level. It’s only going to take one bad play.

Like when it’s his decision!!!! Hate when it’s by design 80+% of the time.

State of the Bills Roster 3 weeks into FA

Regarding # 2: Obviously you can’t fill every hole and this year is especially tough with the Cap being what it is. My guess is, Beane feels he can continue with a middle of the road line due to JA’s mobility and pocket awareness. Last year, Josh’s command of the pocket and seeming nonchalance in dealing with jail breaks by defenders has Beane feeling ok with this approach. I think it is inarguably more important to shore up the D this offseason. -

He just needs the right coaching and opportunity..... hopefully the lightbulb turns on😜 -
This was the first season my Dad got me into football. The first game being the Dolphins game and I was hooked at the age of 9. I’m pretty sure I was at this game but have no recollection of it. We would have left as the old man would have wanted to stop at his favorite bar before going home.

I moved to LA in 1989 at the age of 20. My second job there was cooking at Gorky’s Russian Cafe. I told them I couldn’t work Sunday mornings because I was Devout and had to go to church!!! Of course, I would ride the LA Metro bus all the way to Canoga Park ( 1 hour each way) to go watch the Bills games in some Irish pub. THAT was my Sunday Church😎 -

Me, the day I got bumped up💪 -
They were an excellent tandem at the beginning of their careers. Short was demonstrably the better linemen which is why they kept him. Star eats up blockers without a lot of push. Short could push the middle very effectively. Together they made the middle of the Panther’s line immovable. The question is, can they get back anywhere near that level. IF they could, for a short term Super Bowl push, it would be great to have them together. It’s a BIG if!!!
