Agree with all of this. Epenesa was negatively effected by the lack of camp last year. He is definitely showing up this year. I was a pretty big skeptic on EO this off season. I wanted to see him show up but didn’t count on it. He is definitely popping up all over the place. Part of that is Star being in there, another is having less plays/staying fresher than last year.

Loftin and Paup where the two that immediately hit my brain. Can’t argue with Hyde being high up in the list though. We’ve been waiting to see a D and O work together at a high level for forever. Feels like we are getting our wish.

For years now we’ve heard about Daboll’s NE background. For years longer than that, we watched the Pats switch formations , at will, and beat the living crap out of us( and others) I’ve been waiting to see Daboll’s past bear fruit and Sunday it happened. Taking the longer view, as Josh and company get comfortable in these sets, running these plays successfully, we start to become THAT team. The team that can seemingly do everything and do it well. AWESOME read!!!!!

The D Line is the key. It’s why we sucked last year and don’t this year. They generated enough of a rush to make PM make quicker decisions than he wanted and he threw a bunch away and misfired a bunch, especially into the dirt which was satisfying. Also, there were some plays wher the outside rusher didn’t advance but stayed wide to keep PM inside which was nice. The DBs also played a great game but I think some of that is a product of the rush.

Sitting here rewatching part of second half before work. A few plays earlier, Diggs are getting hooked on a 3/10 play and they don’t flag it. White is actually getting pulled by Kelcie who’s right hand is around and behind Whites shoulder. But, on the two replays the ball isn’t even visible because it is that high and that far out of bounds( and the camera shot). HTF are any of these jokers refs?????
