  1. We are getting pressure with four. Star is back and playing well. Oliver has taken a step forward ( Mea culpa, I doubted he would) WE ARE STOPPING THE RUN. Which we didn’t do last year. We are trying and succeeding at keeping everything in front of us. Our DBs look better ( like some of us said they would) than last year because of improved line play. We bend but we aren’t breaking too bad. Tennessee was their worst game. Otherwise, the D IS doing it’s job on pace that is capable of getting us to the SB. If the O peaks at the right time and the D Holds serve , we are as good as any team in the league in 2021. I’ve been watching this team since 1980. This is the most complete team the Bills have fielded in that time.
  2. This is my feeling as well. We all saw what KC looked like in last years SB. Our O line is the weakest part of our team IMO. Josh is willing us to wins. It is kind of ironic that he played “ Run for your life” ball in college. In a perverse sort of positive way it is serving him and the Bills well , that he did. Go back and watch the last drive of last years Rams game. Josh was equally running for his life and moving us down the field. Exciting ? Yes. Recipe for a sustainable winning environment? No. There is nothing we can do this year other than hope the Football gods favor us with health and luck. However, the Rams, The Bucs and The Cardinals are all teams that scare me. With the Titans bad luck, I’m not terrified of anyone in the AFC.
  3. Points show up in the tie breaker formula so I don’t have any problem with them scoring. HOWEVER, Josh picked the O up, put it on his shoulders ( with some help from Beas) and carried the O. It was STUPID to put him at unnecessary risk for one extra point. If it was a pass, then i could honor the “ Live fire practice “ excuse but it wasn’t and it was a stupid play. Sometimes the coache’s job is to protect players from themselves.
  4. They are going to get him killed👿
  5. Ref looked right at the play and mid spottted the ball.
  6. I grew up a mile from there and my Mom used to talk about how happy she was it never happened. As a kid, we used to hunt back there. There was a pretty big lawsuit that went on for decades regarding that site afterwards though I don’t know the particulars.
  7. Would have been nice to see a few of those in the second half two weeks ago😳
  8. That assumes he thought it was touched. If it wasn’t then everyone’s blaming him for not downing it and the ball going out to the 20
  9. He downed it. Once a player gives himself up on a live play he can’t advance the ball.
  10. The lack of better O line blocking coupled with mediocre backs certainly doesn’t help. Opposing D coordinators are picking their poison…..because they know it’s not deadly. Also, the league always catch up to new players and dare them to win from a disadvantage. While I hope to see Daboll and Co figure stuff out this year it would be nice to get better o linemen ( guard/center?)and another big bodied target for the RZ. Josh is under a lot of pressure and rarely has a clean pocket AND our run blocking is meh at best.
  11. Their O line is possible the worst in the league . Watson is all they are talking about here today but he has a say as to where he goes. Bridgewater and now Darnold are being blamed for not being able to drive a broken car. Miami has more to offer in a trade also.
  12. Well…He does apparently have the Refs in his back pocket, so there is that🤔
  13. The general tenor of the broadcast was ridiculously Pro Titans, Pro Henry. I know the topic been beaten into the ground on here but it just seemed to be slightly preordained from the word go: Call Bills tightly, call Titans loosely in regards to holding and PI and then do” Makeup calls”. If the hands are outside the arms on safeties and tackles blatantly and they aren’t called …… WTF?
  14. I feel like : A. It’s gotta piss Josh off and that’s a good thing. B. National pundits aside, it makes him look beatable and even if there’s 5-10% disrespect by his opponents that is also a good thing. C. This last game rubbed all the offensive skill player’s noses in their Red Zone misfires. Between the coaches scheming and players working/ executing , this gets addressed and become the point of emphasis big time.
  15. What does a young twenty something know about anything? He had a gift and a competitive spirit. He leveraged that into where he is now. He wanted to play football in the NFL. And you are flat out wrong about entering the NFL and not wanting fame. Plenty of players are looking to make a buck and don’t give a darn about fame. Others, like Josh, accept it as a price you pay for the gig. Ricky Williams didn’t want fame, Cam Newton did. Neither is wrong for feeling the way they feel. And acting like we are entitled to every minute of an athlete’s life because he makes big money is another example of how money effs most things up.
  16. I’ve never been a worshipper of others. Imagine never being able to just sit down and have a meal without a stream of “ Fans” coming up and bugging you. I feel for Josh and all who gain fame but don’t want it.
  17. Correctly in Slavic? Mah-Tah- Kay-Veech
  18. I would literally beat the living tar out of all three announcers, single handed, if given the chance right now. “ Two minute warning comes at a good time because the defense needs to regroup.”?????
  19. Block in the back on Edmunds
