  1. i think Vegas probably weighed heavily on any potential decision to strip them of the superbowl victory. there is already a class action lawsuit on the fight from a couple people that bet on it. i can't imagine what would happen if it was stripped.
  2. is that a hurrycane?
  3. mustard and hot sauce on hot dogs. occasionally chili.
  4. i bet i have the strangest Steve Tasker memory. back during the Bill's heydays, i went to the movies at McKinley mall. a shorter guy with curly hair and a female companion were in front of me in line for tickets (sorry i don't remember the movie). when he got up to the front, he asked for two tickets, and then proceeded to write a check for payment. i remember thinking to myself, "who pays for movie tickets with a check"? when he turned to walk away...it was none other than Steve Tasker. I still wonder to this day why he paid with a check.
  5. i've been to jekyll island a few times. very relaxing and low key. beautiful beaches.
  6. my daughter has a first generation Nexus 7 and it still works excellent. Google did drop the Nexus 7 from its online store but you can get used ones on Ebay, or new ones on Amazon. I highly recommend it. i've had a couple samsung phones (S3 and just got S5) they seem very good also. the kindle line is limited to amazon store (without some trickery). whereas the nexus you can use google play or amazon store.
  7. I don't have time to read through all 57 (at this point) pages of replies...so i'm sure it's been stated. but i have to weigh in: The Bills continue their trend of over-paying for running backs. I'm ok with trading Kiko. but how about to move back into the first round, or for a tight end or QB? Makes no sense to trade for a running back entering his 7th year in the league.
  8. Friggin Owner Really Dumb Found on Roadside Dead i used to know more. (i knew a service tech at ford, he had lots of them). i have no preference.
  9. life-long WNY'er here..live in southtowns. setting aside the november crazy snow, january and february have been snowy and cold...best year i've ever had on my snowmobile. getting out again tonight.
  10. Brandon said a while back that the Bills are more than open (now) to being on prime-time. Just need the networks to agree
  11. Did a search and didn't see this elsewhere. My question is, WHY is his contract guaranteed when he chose to opt-out? I fully understand the opt-out option with ownership changes. But if he chooses to leave, why do the Bills still have to pay him? If he chooses to opt-out, the guarantee should be dropped. To me, this smacks of greed. He will get paid $4million (widely reported) by the Bills next year WHILE ALSO coaching someone else. I'd love to know who structured his contract that way (Whaley? Brandon?). In my mind, whoever did that deserves to go also. That is terrible. My speculation is that this is all about $$$ for Marrone. Pure and simple.
  12. you do realize, those two statements are in juxtaposition to each other?
  13. my issue is that pretty much ALL the intentional grounding calls lately come well AFTER the play is over, and after considerable debate and discussion by the referees. apparently, they only make the call later. its total BS, and it happens in other games (not just the Bills). i hate the officiating.
  14. cut williams and sign da'rick rogers . . . . j/k
  15. Flea flicker. Incomplete to watkins about 40 yards downfield
  16. the bills are hurt and angry. i think we whip the 'phins. i'll say 31-6
  17. it's actually closer to the f-in center than the aud, but how about the FulMar? (corner of Fulton and Marvin). Had the ring on a string game (had to swing the ring perfectly to get in on a hook). Good times. It was right near where the casino is now.
  18. CJ is "a running back" who has shown flashes of brilliance, but has not done it consistently. he is also quickly approaching the typical half-life that RBs have in this league, and coming off a major injury. we can always find another "running back". impact DEs are much harder to find.
  19. how about the number of times Freddie was referred to as "the oldest running back in the NFL" the fact is, until we get good, we get the bottom of the barrel for announcers. they were brutal.
  20. in the tech arena, LAMP is Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP
  21. i just threw up in my mouth
  22. this drove me nuts. this was absolutely Jauron-like. Once that decision was made, Marrone gave a huge vote of no confidence to his offense. Brutal.
  23. Strictly an opinion, no basis in fact. But stepping back and looking at everything in the news, it seems as if all these are "aggression" type of crimes. Anger and heat of the moment situations. I'm wondering if there is some new PED or other drug out that is causing this type of behavior. (look at how quickly synthetic marijuana went around, before laws could restrict it. You could buy it in corner stores). I'm thinking there is something new people are taking (to gain an edge, that drug tests aren't catching), and its causing this type of reaction. It seems as if these are daily occurrences (I realize there are other threads discussing the "whos" and the "whats"). Something must be causing it.
  24. Bills control the line of scrimmage. We have better offensive weapons (except at TE and QB) and a better defense. Rivers throws for 3 TDs but we run for 2 and have 3 FG. 23-21 Bills. Goal posts come down at the end of the game. People are post-game tailgating well into the evening. Record call-ins to local businesses on Monday. Pegula smiles from afar!
