It was Peyton and Eli. How could that be ? Well EVERY guest they've had on that ESPN Monday night presentation has lost the following week. This could be the biggest curse since the infamous Sports Illustrated Cover curse !! Its real !!
And I had the nerve to say that Allen would break the streak lol.....

I personally think they should go back to the offense of last year. I think Pitts scared them off the spread coupled with what KC did to us last season and perhaps even the Ravens slowed it down too. They are trying to evolve but it isn't working. In any case, if they cant fix the o line issues it isn't going to matter much what they do.
Bingo.

No QB is going to look good behind this o line. Not only do they allow jailbreaks and pressures with just 4 guys rushing but they can't run the ball either. People claim Hero ball Josh or Sugar high Josh but the fact is that it is needed because of this o line. Its that bad. Yes Josh misses some stuff. Its because of the pressure. All QBs miss some stuff. People cant expect a QB to be perfect. Especially not behind Swiss cheese with no running game to fear.
Funny I counted plenty of times that when Josh faked the handoff out of the shotgun and the linebackers are just ignoring it and going straight to their zone assignments. Thats how much the Jags though less of our run game.

He was CLEARLY limping on the play (on replay), favoring the braced right leg. At first glance, however, I also saw him just NOT react to the snap, but then on replay I saw him visibly hobbling after his man as the play ended.
Did he get hurt? Did he act hurt to cover his ass? Is our suspect depth absolutely decimated right now? Is life worth living?
I'm not sure what to do...
To me he was going after his man after he got beat. If he was so hurt that he cant even get out of stance he shouldnt have been on the field for that play.

This was the 3rd and 7 play with 1:18 left in the game. By the time the ball got into Allen hand and the edge rusher was coming in to pass rush, Williams was not even out of his stance. Because of this the defender CLEAN beat Williams and cause the sack/fumble. This basically ended the game. I know Allen missed seeing Sanders on 4th down but this is crazy. It was like Williams was sleep walking with the game on the line smh. Between Williams and Ford I just cant do it.

He actually did take the underneath stuff today and there was minimal yac
Beasely and Singletary combined for 15 catches - for 76 yards.
Cole had 8 catches for 33 yards.
How's that even possible????
Right. I rewatched the tape and the problem was he took the checkdown too ofter passing up bigger windows right in front of him. I think this was a directly reflection on how the OL was playing and him for example not trusting Sweeney as much as Knox on a couple of plays that stood out.

Shoutout to all the people in the comments who watch more games than just the Bills games

Why don’t we run McKenzie jet sweep anymore? Last year we ran it almost every game. I feel like offense less creative this year and more conservative? Maybe bc the poor O line play?
Because we tried one in week 1 and Pitt was waiting for it and it seems like it scared the Bills off from using it ever since

Now go win the game my guy Josh

Damn i hope tre didn't hurt his shoulder
-
Relax. It looks ugly right now, but the Bills will figure out a way to win this game. With that being said everything on offense looks so hard right now
-
Jacksonville played the cardinals tough until Trevor Lawrence threw a dumb pick six. Bills OL just needs to get their head out of their ass and we need to get the ball to Diggs to get some flow on offense
Also in the red zone I want to see some Gabe Davis / Kumerow

We apparently are allergic to scoring TDs in Jax and in that stadium.
I was thinking the same thing earlier that this game reminds me of the playoff game. Smh

Well, if he was twice the legal limit 2 hours after the crash, he was legit blackout drunk when he got into his car, and essentially had no clue what he was doing. I have a couple of friends/acquaintances who are alcoholics and I've witnessed them get to that blackout drunk stage on more than one occasion and they are essentially braindead feral creatures at that point. His mistake was driving himself and his girl out for the evening when he knew he was going to drink. Don't get me wrong, he needs to pay dearly for his actions - but questioning his judgment in that moment is really irrelevant, since he no longer had the ability to make any kind of rational decision.
Also, why didn't his GF step in and at least attempt to stop him from getting behind the wheel in that state? She admitted to the cops that they had been drinking all night. She is not blameless either.
Crazy cause I asked my wife earlier yesterday if I was stupid enough to be driving drunk and speeding would she have enough sense to stop me and she told me she would unless she was totally toasted as well and knocked out
I asked because when I was younger I know I got behind the wheel once or twice drunk but my thought process was to take my time rolled down my window, and just go home. I also had times I left my SUV at the club and took a cab home because I knew I was popped. I just don't understand how you get to the point you are doing 150+ mph down the street and at no point know you are about to smack right behind a another car. Sad for everyone involved.

I just wasn't sure if you were critiquing my post or something
I agree that they're playing heavy cover two shell
Yeah my bad I was basically agreeing with you and just backing it up with data

I think my first sentence was Josh throws downfield as much as any QB in the league
Where did I say anything to the contrary

Across the league most balls are not traveling 20 yards in the air often
Josh throws the ball downfield as much as any quarterback in the league
The key is to hit a 15-20 yard ball with RAC , turns into a 30+ yard play.. and Josh almost converts first downs every time he throws ball
Lots of quarterbacks are short of the sticks guys
Josh Allen is 2nd in the league in ADOT which is average depth of target only behind Lamar Jackson so we are far from a dink and dink offense.
Teams are playing tons of cover 2 shell so that by default funnels QB to target short passes. Allen still takes his deep shots.

In the AFC championship game last year he was picked, the play started in KCs 20 yard line, maybe officially wasn't the 20 and therefore no redzone picks, but that's the one i remember
Yeah it was at the 21 yard line so it was a close as it could be

And they too focus on Adams, Kupp & others..... There are 21 receivers ahead of Diggs..... I'm sure he's happy about that.
His production is down 25%, another thing I'm sure warms his heart.
As long as Diggs is used a number 1 receiver and gets number 1 receiver looks and we win everything will be fine with him.
Diggs friendship with Allen also would go a long way to keeping Diggs happy in Buffalo.
So I as well do not see a problem with Diggs numbers being down especially from how high they were a season ago.
Winning, Usage, Money, Friendships keeps alot of players happy in the league in my opinion.

Tua

1 INT
4 rushes 10 yards
1 rush TD
Tua QBR; 68
Josh

69% completion
249 yards
5.9 yard average
2 passing TDs
0 INT
8 rushes 55 yards
1 rush TD
Josh QBR; 45
Can someone please explain to me how Josh beats Tua in every statistical category and finishes with a lower QBR? QBR is worthless.
Those QBR numbers HAS to be in reverse. Remember a QBR of 50 is average.

Josh is a high volume rythem passer. Josh is my guy but he has to do a better job to be a efficent low vloume passer when the situattion dictates it. With that being said Bills should be going 4 wide and lighting the Dolphins defense up

What the Ravens loss (and many other bad losses) should teach us

It just reiterated what I already knew.
When you are a favorite and especially a big favorite you have to put your foot on the opponent throat early in the game to take away all belief that they can play on the same field as you.
The longer you allow the opponent to hang around the more confident they will become, that they can beat you and in my opinion thats how most upsets happen.
