Bernard calling the D. Interesting. Not to make this another Edmunds thread (lord knows we don't need another one of those) but in the context of the decision that we know is coming at some point in the next 9 months that is a very interesting development. I noted Leslie stopped short of saying Bernard's skillset is the same as Milano's the other day too. All he was willing to say was "there is some similarity in size." Maybe they see Bernard as an MLB?

Frazier said today that Bernard is the backup Middle LB behind Edmunds

They play the teams on their schedule.  No one was expecting too much from the Fins under Tua last year. They won 7 of 8 down that stretch.   The Bills, a legit SB contender, lost to a a team with no pulse (Jags), and scored 1 TD against NE, at home, in another loss.

Hill is propping up his new QB in public--and Tua needs some propping up in public.  So what?

Like I said Hill took it too far. No need to write checks for TUA that he cant cash. As far as won 7/8 all I am saying is if you are going to mention they won 7/8 to imply that they were good then just provide the proper context. Regarding New England it took a wind storm to hold the Bills to a TD. It is what it is though.

Tua is a very accurate QB.  He was also the best RPO passer in the league last year.  This is what he always was in college.  The Fins are building the scheme around this.  It requires an accurate QB and fast receivers going over the middle--which is one reason they went hard at Hill.

Tua is what he is--and the Fins are going to roll with that.   They won 6 in a row with him in the second half of the season and 7 of the last 8.  Bills finished 5-3. He had 3 games with 80+% completions.  Only 4 QBs have had back to back 80%.

May not be an easy out for the Bills this season.

Did you see the Dolphins schedule during that time. As soon as they had the play a team with a pulse they got their ass kicked ( Chargers). With that being said I spoke MONTHS ago about not sleeping on the Dolphins and I got laughed off the board. At the end of the day the Dolphins will be there own worst enemy and Tyreek podcast is the start. When Diggs came to the Bills, him and Allen didnt say anything about Football. It was only after the clicked and perform did they say ANYTHING.

All Tyreek is doing is pulling more pressure and him and Tua to perform and at the same time pulling a target on his back. Call me crazy but I think Waddle is a little overrated as well. Hill is great, Gesicki is a great target but cant block and their new slot Cedric Wilson caught almost half this rececptions in 3 games. The scheme besides Hill and getting Armstead ( when he is on the field) are the biggest changes to the Dolphins offense

  4. I have no idea why I started reliving some of most gut wrenching loses in Bills history but I still cant believe how we choked the game away to the point most of those games have nick names. Mods delete if you feel necessary

will be a Bill soon 💪💪

Should have already been a Bill. I remember during the senior bowl all Zay Jones did was talk about how good Copper Kupp was. It wasnt just oh he is a good player standard talk, it was I know this guy is better than be talk. As soon as we took Zay in the 2nd all I could think about how  Zay spoke about Copper Kupp and just knew he would be the better player.

BTW I did have high hopes for Zay mostly due to NFL pedigree and his performaces during the Senior bowl pratices

has a team ever opened in two consecutive seasons, without being the Super Bowl winner in either?

No, BUT the NFL usually  doesn't like Inter-Conference games on Opening Night. Only 3 times in the last 20 years has the NFL Kickoff game been between 2 Intra-Conference teams and non in the last 5 years.

With that being said it could be due for a Inter-Conference game and Bills vs Rams would be a great one.

Cincy has about 55 million in cap space so they will only get stronger and their GM has already done a good job with that defence in free agency.  Beane needs to follow some but not all of the Rams footprint to a title. Make a couple of splash win now moves to get a big time defensive play maker or two

I think on offence we saw tonight what speed at the RB position looks like in Mixon, even with a terrible line he made some nice runs. I think a speed RB along with another speed WR who has good YAC ability and our offence will get to another level.  Maybe add another guard and then focus on getting play makers on defense

After watching Bengals LB'S  tonight I would trade Edmunds over paying him big money which he does not deserve.

They got a lot of cap space for next year but remember their owner is cheap so I would be highly surprised if the Bengals are big spenders this offseason.
