Your missing the point in the post that says hypothetical. Tremaine and Ed would prob be around 25 million a year. It's close enough to say if we spent the money which would you rather have if it was actually a thing.

Curious to see your thoughts here, this is totally a hypothetical question but I believe you would get more impact on the offensive side of the ball assuming you could get middle of the road guys to replace. You have to figure devante adams is good for almost a touchdown a game. For context the chiefs made the number one seed with some of the worst defensive ratings in the nfl this season.

Steelers radio debates signing Tremaine Edmunds

I just cant justify spending all the money on defense when they don't seem to matter a lot in the big games vs unstoppable offenses. -
First-ever NFLPA "Players All Pro Team"

This is a way for the players to get themselves more money is all really. Players that may not get accolades otherwise can say but I made the nflpa all pro. Kinda smart. -
Dolphins fans opinions on what we have to say about them 🤔
Sharky7337 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have the most dangerous offense of any of the wildcard teams. They could easily hang a ton of points on us quickly with competent QB play. It was the match up I wanted least. Every year the bills were exited from the playoffs by tyreek Hill. We had the ability to make sure they didn't make the playoffs. Will that come back to bite us? The bills should win, but you never know. -

This is all a show. If they really wanted to get rid of it, they'd send it to a orchard park tail gate. -
What is really concerning to me, is the bills defense is supposed to be a good unit, and the Bengals absolutely said we don't think they are and just totally disrespected them in a sense by wanting the ball first. That says to me that our defense isn't worth the money and investment we have in it right now.

The Jests; from 7-4 to 7-9. An epic collapse
Sharky7337 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
So when we both have bad QB play they win is what your saying? Look I'm not targeting you, but there's an awful lot of fans that forget where we came from and how quick that can change. That game and a few others may have cost us the one seed. People need to stop talking down on other teams like we are so high and mighty because we were them just 4 years ago. We haven't won the SB. -

It mattered enough for them to beat us as many times as we beat them. -

Dude, elijah Moore, breeze hall, Michael Carter. They have some young talent there. Just because they have a QB disaster doesn't mean they don't have some pieces -

Are you really even serious? They have a ton of young talent on O. -

Ya hopefully Tua stays and their voodoo doll QB can continue to curse our adversary. Lol (Pin pricks the doll in the head and cackles maniacally) -
Talen evaluation of our own players continues to be worrisome.

Buffalo News analysis of Tremaine Edmunds this season
Sharky7337 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd argue that Oliver who was a top ten pick has not even played remotely close to that draft spot. Quinnen Williams was taken top ten also, and has become better. Christian Wilkins has more impact on games then Oliver. Oliver is not even listed in top defensive tackle rankings in PFF -

My issue is when the majority of players we draft and develop don't produce at their draft level until their last year before free agency if at all. The obvious two exceptions being tre white, Edmunds(arguably), milano. Oliver, epenesa, Basham, Phillips (harrison), Rousseau, Hamlin, Joquan, elam, the linebacker we took this year Some of these are arguable and or having decent seasons, but if we are not getting the production except for one year and getting average to below average play while they "develop" it starts to look like a bad formula. By the time they become an asset they leave for money. Oliver is being on the list due to his draft position more so then his play, but every year he's supposed to become this big impact guy, flashes like once or twice, but then never seems to be consistent -

I was all for signing these defensive core players, but after watching games, does it even really matter? I feel like you cannot stop the good offenses much anyways. I think I'd rather spend the money on offense. -
Would you consider the Boogie Basham pick to be a disappointment?
Sharky7337 replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
Their talent evaluation on both lines and at RB once has been abysmal until maybe the cook pick, Singletary was a good value pick but I see other teams get more impact full RB in the later rounds.
