  1. He's at moondoggies here in Vegas. Huge Bills bar. My buddy just text me a photo of OJ standing next to him.
  2. Benjamin pass play first and goal was horrendous. I also wasn't happy that they didn't do more motion plays to throw off defense. But honestly 84 and 10 dropped catchable balls that would have kept drives alive. TT also left some throws on the field he should have hit on. In the end our QB play isn't playoff caliber. That will be fixed next season Great game by defense. LB's showed up
  3. Well have a new QB under center next year that will make that throw. That's why I'm excited about the future.
  4. I completely agree. This was a winnable game. We just didn't make the plays. TT inability to throw the ball down the field was a huge problem. I like where this team is heading. At 9-7 adding a few pieces I really believe makes this a championship caliber team, where we don't have to worry about squeaking into the playoffs. Arrow is pointing up
  5. All of this makes sense. First, it's very apparent that Taylor isn't the Bills future QB based on his performance and benching. Secondly, it's well known throughout the league that there are many teams interested in his services. Why not trade him instead of letting him go for nothing. Secondly, Cousins makes sense for the Bills, specifically McDermott. He is a perfect fit re: character & leadership qualities with a fiery temperament. He is ranked within the Top 10 in completion %, yards, TD passes, QB rating, and completions of 20+ yards. His 9 INT's is 5th best amongst QB's with over 3400 yards passing. He has five 300+ yard passing games this season. Brady has 6. Roethlisberger and Stafford have 4. He pushes the ball down the field and can make the throws. As a young 29 year old he's been a full time starter for the last 3 seasons after playing only 14 total games his first three seasons. He hasn't missed a game since 2014 when he split time with RG3. He can easily fulfill a 7-8 year contract especially with players like Brees, Manning, Roethlisberger and Brady who are over 35 leading the way. It's a win now move vs. waiting years for a 2018 draft pick to learn and grow. The land information isn't a stretch to believe. Pegula has built up Downtown Buffalo immensely and as a business man he knows that an all-in-one facility that is closer to downtown than OP with new Boxes, restaurants, stores, etc would be a revenue maximizer. New Era Field is dated and old. It doesn't have the facilities and amenities a new stadium could bring, not to mention conventions and other events it would attract if they have a closed roof. Although they have a lease w/ New Era there is no way they are looking to extend it into the foreseeable future once it expires. Land purchases take time. So does creating plans and building. To think the Bills have a spot and may already be making plans in hopes of opening in 4 years is a reasonable timeline.
  6. Whether you agree or not, I truly believe with TT's struggles that McD felt Peterman had developed to a point where he could come in and do some things with the offense that TT could not. He could experience some success that TT was not able to achieve. I don't think he made the switch with the mindset that TT gave us the best chance to win but he wanted to give Peterman some game experience. So with a playoff bid in mind he was seeing if Peterman could snap us out of our slump. I don't think this was a tank move.
  7. I see us being around 8-8. We play Miami twice still and the Colts. I also believe they will pull out a home win vs. a team they shouldn't beat. I just rolled my eyes a few weeks ago when everyone said this 5-2 "felt different." Everyone said the same thing when Fitztragic was throwing for 300 yards and 4 TD's in shoot outs the first half of 2011 and the D was making eye popping turnovers. Bottom line is the only thing that would feel different is something that IS different. Like a reaching a winning record they haven't had before, or actually making the playoffs. Otherwise 5-2 is 5-2. There is nothing to feel different about it. Now we know there is good reason not to. Opposing offenses are opening holes the size of trailer homes vs our DL. You can't tackle someone when your five yards away from them.
  8. I have full confidence that Beane and McD will fix the QB position. As for Peterson, I have a feeling we will see him again. The second the Bills are out of playoff contention he will be starting. Last weeks move already established that TT isn't McD's guy. The only reason he would go back in is because he gives the team a better chance to win, which matters when your in the playoff hunt. Once we are out of contention, TT will be riding the bench.
  9. TT did put up better stats and the team did score more last year. But his knock was always his inability to consistently stretch the field and hit receivers who are in tight windows. Look, I've been a big TT fan for a while. I've stood up for him on many a threads. He has a unique skillset that many QB's don't have, and his deep ball can look almost Michael Vick like. But bottom line is he doesn't stretch the field enough and it drives me mad. That 5 yard dump off to Mike Tolbert on 3 and 12 when we were down by a gazillion was a WTF moment. Do I believe it's cause he doesn't want to make mistakes? Yes. Hence low INT"s. But at the end of the day you need a guy who can anticipate throws and not allow the front seven to stack the box. Taylor's 187 passing yards per game ranks him 32nd in the league behind guys like Mike Glennon, Jacoby Brissett and Matt Moore. His longest pass play of 44 yards ranks him 31st. He is 22nd in plays of 40+ yards and is the 4th most sacked QB. Those stats will not win you games consistently, especially when you fall behind. Pound for pound his receivers are about equal. You can blame blocking scheme, sun in his eyes, whatever. TT is a guy who can win games with a lights out D that gets a lot of turnovers. Brady has led so many ridiculous come backs I can't even count. Jim Kelly did as well. We need that kind of production at QB.
  10. I disagree This has been labeled a rebuild from the get go. Honestly if we had started 1-4 and stood right now 3-7 everyone would be saying "its part of the process. Give it a year." But we had success and beat some good teams. All of a sudden we start losing and everyone forgets what we were doing in the first place. Building a roster that McD and Beane want with players who buy into what they are trying to do. I am baffled like the rest how all of a sudden a team that plays stout D can start leaking like a puncture. But bottom line is this team isn't stocked with the players that will provide us long term success. If you look at the guys we jettisoned, none are killing it with their respective teams. We have a GM who hasn't even run a draft yet, and a coach didn't even pick all of the players on the team. Be as mad as you want, you have to give them time to do their thing. It's a five year plan. They will get at least three years to make this work. If we are in the same boat in 2019 then we'll have a new regime in 2020. I don't see that happening though. So I will be in the minority and have faith because of what I believe McD stands for and what he brings to the table with his style of coaching and character.
  11. I'm not. My point is he is the same QB he has been the last few years. Stats are the same and record the same. TT is what he is. OC doesn't matter. He's played with three of them...same result.
  12. Totally on board with this. Checks all the boxes. Character, Stats, leadership. Get'r done
  13. Why stop there. Let's just call him out for the decade. I mean a wrap around his knee? It's probably keeping the bottom half of his leg from falling off.
  14. I heard he even does it in the bedroom when alone with is wife! Imagine how she feels??
  15. Were half way into year 1 of a 5 year plan. Your already calling Beane a failure because we don't have our answer at QB. The guy hasn't even run a draft here yet. What automatic pass is he getting? Wow. Thank you!!! Someone finally making some sense!!!
  16. Give me a few minutes to down a case of beer so I can understand your English.
  17. Taylors numbers are identical to his first two seasons. The Bills finished 7-9 and 8-8. They are now 5-4 with Taylor. So your saying Taylor's play is Dennison's fault? How about Greg Roman? Anthony Lynn? Everyone said TT needed to learn how to stretch the field and use the middle of the field more, trust his receivers and anticipate throws. A trait that most every successful NFL QB does. That has been the knock on him since his first year here. It's not Dennison's fault that TT can't do what other successful QB's do.
  18. Lou Saban didn't own the team. Ralph Wilson did.
  19. We are building a team for long term success. This isnt' about 17 or 18. If you want to already label next year's draft picks as flops that's on you. Way to be positive.
  20. Obviously you have never been in an executive role before. You want to lose your team, overstep your HC and GM and scream at them about performing in a sport you have never played before. Even the guys that played their hearts out? Not a smart move.
