Uh-oh. Mahomes Ankle...
-
I mean, yeah it was a turnover, but not really a "takeaway." KC did nothing to force the fumble.
-
The upcoming drive may decide the game. KC gets the ball to start the second half. Philly can't let them double dip.
-
Noticed that, too. From what I read, they even had a new field installed for the Super Bowl.
-
They knew they were going for it on 4th. Makes KC defend potential run plays on 3rd down, too.
-
Horseshoe up their ass. Geez.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?

I'm far from being Frazier's biggest fan and truth be told, I'm more in the "get rid of him" camp than I am the "keep him" camp. That said, it's important to remember that the Bills defense didn't play one snap at 100% full strength. Tre was out until Thanksgiving. By then, Hyde had been gone for weeks and they also lost Von the same game they got Tre back. Not to mention injuries keeping Poyer, Oliver, Edmunds and Rousseau out of games. I'm sure there's others I'm missing, too. Even with all of those pieces missing, the Bills were still pretty good on defense most games. Again, if I was making the call, I'd probably let Frazier go (or, simply not renew if his contract is up). But, at the same time, I'm not gonna be too devastated if he's back. That said, I'm hoping to see more aggression, especially in the secondary. -
Well, DraftKings disagrees with the bolded: https://dknation.draftkings.com/2023/1/24/23568249/super-bowl-odds-2024-favorites-long-shots-aaron-rodgers-tom-brady-retirement-impact

Personally, I don't see what is so great about Payton. Yes, he's won A (single) Super Bowl, but he's also lost in 2 NFC Championship games, lost in the Divisional round 4 times and lost in the Wild Card round twice. On top of that, he's had 5 seasons finishing at .500 or below. Another thing to keep in mind is the fact that no head coach in NFL history has won a Super Bowl with two different teams. Could Payton be the first? Sure. But, I certainly wouldn't be giving up first round draft picks for the guy. I can only speak for me, but I'm not ready to give up on McDermott yet. That said, something has to change on defense. The "bend but don't break" simply doesn't get it done in the postseason. From what I understand, Frazier's contract expires, so you don't even have to "fire" him, just don't renew and get someone in here that attacks on defense. If McDermott is unable or unwilling to make adjustments, then he may be the next one that needs to be shown the door.

A bit surprised Dallas wasn't flagged for roughing the passer there.

Fun fact: Mario Mendoza's career batting average was .215, which is 15 points higher than Bob Uecker's career batting average of .200.

Loudest cheer of the night on a PAT by the visiting team's kicker.

I tend to agree. Thing is, if you release him, who you gonna be able to pick up at this stage of the season?

In fairness, the Rams played in the MNF playoff game last year and had to travel cross country to play in Tampa the following Sunday. Seemed to work out OK for them. That said, I don't think there should be playoff games on Monday Night. But, I also don't see it changing anytime soon.

Yet, the game is over the instant the clock hits 0:00 in the 4th quarter. Otherwise, the Bills may have had a shot at a spike to stop the clock in week 3. Maybe that's why Dorsey was pissed. He expected the Bills to get that extra 99/100ths of a second.

I've always equated it to where a pitcher in baseball follows through with a pitch, even if the umpire calls time before the pitch is thrown. As I understand it, it's a momentum thing and to stop may cause an injury, whereas simply following through with the pitch (or kick), even if it won't count, is the safer option. -

I wouldn't let him in the locker room. He'd be fired before he got all the way up the tunnel. -

They've been doing that lately. Last week, a ref smacked a snap out of the air when a team called timeout. I guess it's so the kicker doesn't get a "practice kick," but I don't like it. Refs shouldn't be interjecting themselves like that, IMO. -

Actually, it was 28-3 at the half. Houston defense got a pick 6 on the first drive of the 3rd quarter. -

How much money did they pay Kirk again?
