Well 3 team all American in high school. Western ny all county team 2x. Still had 2 school records in track 10 years after I graduated. My father was the real athlete world champion figure skater. I just inherited it from him. Went to nationals all 4 years in college I can say I placed 8th every year. In a box I have my all American awards. I were my dads award. Mine don't compare. I guess here is my thought. I am not from East Aurora. I grew up in Marilla My mom and gram both are cancer survivors. ( both breast cancer) My dad straight off the boat from England. That said my parents would never on a next day school night at 8 years old let me be out past 830pm let alone till past 12pm. And to take to social media to complain about this give me a break.
