Hughes has been quietly unimpressive the last couple of years. Not as much production as you would like, tends to disappear at times. Plus the bone head penalties.
Bills are in a great position because, nationally, we are assumed to be in the running for the first overall pick. Certainly trumps Green Bay and some of the other teams rumored to be interested.
Do you know of any with the contract that Mack will require?
I like Mack, and he is versatile, but his value lies in getting after the QB. I would think he would be a DE for us, with the versatility to occasionally drop.
I like him. Shows good accuracy- especially on the move. Really nice footwork as well.
But to say that- "I can't see how anyone could watch Sam Darnold and not think he's going to be a gigantic star" is silly based on what he has shown so far. I'd say he has intriguing potential.
I think they will be pretty good on D, but not as good as they look right now. Watching them, they are showing way more than normal for the preseason. Greggo is trying to look good, IMO.
I think so.
I don't think we will be drafting that high, but that is the national perspective- so the Raiders would probably value our picks more than most of the other teams discussed.
I think with having a young QB that you don't have to pay for several years, this is the perfect time for a trade like this. Load up a take advantage of a cost controlled QB
Could they play Mack at the SAM and then bring him down to rush the passer on 3rd down? I mean he's more athletic than LoRax.
I don't see this trade happening though. Hope I'm wrong,.
