    Bills did underachieve, and did have talent, as so many have pointed out as McD “gutting the roster.” And since, he has only ended the 17 year playoff drought by securing two playoff berths in three years. Success by any measure.

    This isn’t necessarily accurate. We could go name for name down those rosters and the talent would match up favorably with most of the league. They underperformed, which is why the coaching position was open, and were also ravaged by injury- as they always seem to be.

    I generally agree, but bringing it out also leads to those damn "half the distance to the goal" penalties. Which seem to happen all the time on returns, and those really back you up.

    Without looking at his stats, in my mind it doesn’t seem like Willis really had that long of a prime in the league. He kind of burst onto the scene and then Bowman really surpassed him and he dealt with a lot of injuries. That’s how I remember it.

    I'm not one of the pessimistic "realists." Just pointing out how one could become that way based on basically the entire history of this franchise. It's a defense mechanism. Personally, I let myself remain hopeful as I can deal with the potential disappointment .

    I think they're pretty different. Foster is a long strider that can get up to really high speeds. McKenzie is not quite as fast, but is quicker and has much better change of direction.

    I just wish Foster could track a deep ball- seems lost on the "go" patterns. He's a real weapon on crossing patterns though. Dehydration was the "logic"

    Too many variables in a football play for historical data to drive decisions, IMO.

    Hmm. I've heard quite the opposite, like he's constantly in Allen's ear since OTA's.

    I agree, slowing down Zeke will be the key. I just don't think there is any way they have 5 DT's active.
