  1. Underrated player IMO. I really enjoy the 6 man line.
  2. Philosophically I believe in more balance. in previous years our one dimensional high flying offense has been fun. We’ve scored a bunch of points and won a lot of regular season games. But come playoff time when things get tight and refs swallow their whistles it becomes easier to slow down our one dimensional approach. I believe that’s when balance will pay dividends and allow us to win in more than one way. We at least need a change up.
  3. Maybe so but we currently have the 2nd best point differential and that includes a blowout loss, so I don’t imagine the game scripts are conducive to rushing stats so far. I think our rushing attack will rank much higher by year’s end. And having more of a passing threat will only help that.
  4. Those numbers surprise me. I would guess that is influenced by late running in blowouts
  5. I agree. I'm just talking overall stylistically. We have physical outside guys and will probably roll coverage overtop as well. But a guy like JSN, they can manufacture touches and scheme him up against our backers over the middle. That seems to be the best way to attack us.
  6. I'm more worried about JSN actually. We seem to matchup better against big outside guys with our personnel than the smaller, shifty, separator types that find soft spots in our zones.
  7. This team has a hell of a running game with three capable backs. This going to play dividends in the postseason. Previously our one dimensional attack was built to rack up regular season stats/wins. But I like this build for postseason success.
  8. Luckily the Chiefs are not a real threat. They have no #1 WR, I hear that’s important.
  9. What is supposed to be the surprising reason?
  10. I imagine he'll have more consistent success operating out of the slot vs. being locked up by physical outside play. But we really needed that outside presence.
  11. What's great is that since we're only paying Cooper like $800k all that Diggs dead cap money doesn't look as bad. We can just pretend it's Coopers salary.
  12. To me it makes the most sense to trade. Move Bass and some draft capital to a bad team with a good kicker. That way we move the salary and the rebuilding team gets some draft capital. Kicker is too important to mess around like this.
  13. While Denver is not competing, I’m not sure it makes sense to sell off WR’s while they’re trying to develop/evaluate a rookie QB
  14. We are converting Cine to LB
  15. This thread would be an absolute meltdown had we lost last night
  16. Would have really been something if they called Bass’ good
  17. While true, you didn't find it annoying that with our constant investment in the Dline with high draft picks we still needed to go out and sign Von to $100M to get a difference maker at the position?
  18. Done the walk of shame many a time to retrieve my credit card
  19. The longer this takes the better for us. Each week this drags out his salary goes down.
  20. He's injured but also old, which is why he's such a great fit!
  21. I think Nico could be a nice fallback option if, for some reason, we can't get Justin Jefferson or CeeDee Lamb.
  22. It's who he is and always has been. We have these discussions every year. He's an amazing player and the highs are super high. But it's a major rollercoaster with astonishingly low lows mixed in. He's just a streaky, high variance player.
  23. Think he could’ve played QB?
  24. I think MIA is more of a threat than the Jets. Tua on has to miss a couple more, right?
