I'm surprised at the criticism of those having a hard time getting past this- especially as the season continues. The scenario is nearly beyond comprehension. Josh slayed the dragon. It was his moment and he arrived as possibly the best QB in football. It was not just "the drive" but two drives. That was to be the talking point- it's our time. It was to be an amazing moment in Buffalo sports history. Then we were coming home for the AFCCG as a heavy favorite to go to the Super Bowl. Waiting in the Super Bowl, no not Rodgers or Brady, you have Jimmy G or Stafford... And then, all pissed away. No, not by some amazing play where you just tip your cap. It wasn't taken from us. It was given away by incompetent coaching to a level that is hard to imagine all in the biggest moment. Completely unacceptable. I will not criticize anyone having trouble processing this. It's a whole new level of heartbreak.

No. Can you imagine a future scenario where all that's in the way of hoisting the Lombardi is a Home game as a 7+ point favorite and then a matchup with either Jimmy G or Stafford?

I'll ride with giving the ball to Pringle with a running clock over Mahomes. We've heavily invested in ST aces with guys like Taiwan Jones and Matakevich. It's the right play.

This is the big leagues and there are consequences. You want to preach accountability, it's not just for the players. I'm not assuming this report is correct but, if so, it's not some simple miscommunication to learn from. It's an inexcusable failure.

This is all fear based. Play to win, not not to lose. It's a clear coaching failure. No need to be aggressive on D and risk the big play. But what is the point of using four defensive lineman? A complete waste of bodies. Pat could not hold the ball anyways so a pass rush is moot. Take the linemen off and bring DB's in, then you have numbers to jam at the line and protect deep. It's not complicated. Instead, we basically conceded the tie...pathetic.

If this is true he has to take the fall. Unacceptable.

We actually would have had a better chance to win had we missed the 2 pt conversion... Wouldn't have been able to play so conservative and settle for the tie. Sickening.

The future is supposed to be now. We were 13 seconds from hosting a pretty flawed bengals roster at home to go to the SB and face either Jimmy G or Stafford... *****. Last year was a time for being happy with where we got to and to be excited for the future. This was an epic failure.

McD is clearly involved in making that decision at that point in the game.

Instead, our incompetent coaching over the 13 seconds gave them the tie- they didn't need to do anything special to take it. The touchback and then two pitch and catches like I'm playing catch in my backyard. Inexcusable. It's one thing to get beat by an epic play- the music city miracle- or by your own failed execution- wide right- but being let down by such incredible coaching blunders... Beyond disappointing. Obviously Sean is not going anywhere. But he cost us and robbed us all of an epic moment. Josh's moment. It would be electric right now and we would be the ***** SB favorites. Instead, we go out with a pathetic whimper adding "13 seconds" to the history of heartbreak.
