I've had to listen to the first half of the 1:00 games on the radio this year, Murph is terrible. I never know the yardage on any given play, drives me crazy.

By morons that don't understand that the in-game weather has no bearing on this decision.

Unless you are doming the entire region it would have very little effect. If the game gets moved it's because of the storms impact on the region, with road closures, too much snow to handle, and general unsafe conditions. Has nothing to do with in-game conditions.

Agreed. But again though, two plays where he has his hands on the ball and doesn't come down with it. His inability to secure the big play is borderline incredible.

A dome would make very little difference in a situation like this. It is not the in-game experience that's the problem A dome wouldn't help everyone driving to and from the game, or parking, or any number of things that make hosting a large event while dealing with this much snow impossible.

He was on a heater last postseason, for sure. And that carried over into this season leading me to believe we were beyond the wild swings and hero ball. Maybe this is just a little bump in the road. Josh has shown the ability to attack his flaws and continually improve. I think he's very self aware and understands his emotions can get the best of him leading to inconsistency. I've heard him mention that he's a big negative self-talker, which I do not find to be a very effective approach for high performance. It's probably natural to gain perspective and smooth out emotions as experience is gained. I see this as the final step in his evolution to QB1 of the league.

He's also incredibly emotional. They talk about not "riding the rollercoaster" but Josh clearly does. The postgame press conferences yesterday were a great example. Listening to Von and Diggs you almost wouldn't have known if they won or lost. Von had a particularly good comment saying- "I won't let a team beat me twice", referring to not letting this loss linger. They exude confidence and positive energy- win or lose- and I think that carries over to in-game situations and consistent play. Josh on the other hand is despondent after losses. And I think you see that emotional ride within games as well- the Josh Allen experience- and it leads uneven play.

I've seen nothing but speculation either way.

Yeah, I can’t stand all the current mental gymnastics. Anything less than the one seed is a disappointment. Sure, we could overcome it, but that’s the goal. Especially considering how our season has ended the last two years.

Early in the year I thought I was watching Peyton Manning. Josh was completely in control and running the offense. Taking the plays that were there and playing on time. I thought we were past all this crap, but here we are again. I don't need to see any more hurdles or backyard football. Just run the ***** offense and take care of the ball.

This will have a bigger impact than people think. Bills wanted to add this type of weapon out of the backfield and not have to rely on a rookie to provide it. And we've added some much needed speed to be even more of a nightmare to defend.

I particularly liked your prediction this offseason that we were going to take the ball out of Josh's hands and become a more run heavy offense because we signed a depth tackle from the Titans! Can't make this stuff up... At least you'll always have your Robert Royal takes and that one thread you made about Aaron Donald being good.

That's right! Plus, I predict McCaffery will be working radio by years end anyways! What's Mike Gillislee up too? Maybe we could bring him back and right the wrong of letting him and his 5.7 YPC go. That could fix the RB room Plus, why would McCaffery want to come to a franchise that hired a defensive minded HC (Jauron 2.0) when we had the opportunity to get with the times and hire a guy like Reich? And that hired the coach before the GM! That will never work! You're a legend.

I think the problem with this is the contract. The rams are a great example of how this can work. Trade a high pick for a one year rental and then let them walk, like the Watkins situation. The difference is a high comp pick comes into play when letting these players walk on an expiring contract. That really softens the blow of the compensation. While McCaffrey wouldn't be a big cap hit this year, and we could walk away after, no comp picks would come into play with the loss if we cut him after this year. Are we really going to burn a #1 for a half year rental with no compensation coming back? I see little chance we would move forward with his salary.
